Hello, newb here.
Just started playing this game last week, but I still don't know how to make farms. I saw that I need mud, but when I flood the area, I can't place buildings there.
Am I just being stupid?

This image is clearly the work of a schizophrenic.
I assume he has lost the will to control his actions as depicted with his mangled hands and he cannot tell the difference between a child and a bug, but does not care if he hurts either.
The man needs serious help and needs to 't'ravel to the nearest hospital to become sane.

tl;dr posing as a psychologist.

My guess is, since it's a crab and most likely he attacked you in your fort, it couldn't get the right footing to prevent itself from propelling itself into the wall.

The way I see it, this is supposed to be a game, not an AI communication sim.
But I can see how dwarfish autonomy can be helpful, like if a dwarf sees other dwarfs carrying logs, that dwarf will help out if he is idling; though this game is so big, I think it's already been programed and I haven't found how to do it.

Their skill level makes them do more historical engravings, but I thiiiiink the personality facet doesn't influence it.

But it would make sense, right?
A person who likes art would naturally want to get better at it.
