An elf killed a bronze colossus ? This is even better than Cacame's dragon kill !

Elf in worldgen.

I had one world where an elf killed a bronze colossus, and then was killed herself the same year by a goblin.

Either the colossus kill was extremely damn lucky, or the elf came out of it so messed up she couldn't defend herself against the goblin.
Or the Elf kill was extremely lucky...

I'd imagine having the crossbows being made of silver would drastically increase the lifespan of the kill count of help the stupid as rocks slow stupider than rocks crossbow dwarves who think it's a good awesome idea to run out towards the enemy to bludgeon them to death get murdered horribly.

I imagine that as a gold mace with a wrapped in the bands of goblin bone and sheep leather, with the spikes being embedded in the head of the mace.

The ways you have of disposing of imigrants depends on what you have access to. If in doubt, lock em out.

Quick travel is practically vital, I'd say.  My few forays into adventure mode, I've seen that even traveling in quick travel in a pocket world can take days to reach somewhere, and that means finding shelter, or dealing with boogymen.  I'd vote to allow quick travel, but have more bandit type events and random trader interactions.  Sometimes you come across a traveler who wants to buy from you, or another caravan who can offer trade or information, both at a price.
Would their lives be an acceptable offer?

nope, i guess whatever wound he had was sealed up by my hospital after that first semi disasterous siege...though i found something amusing, he got a bad thought from being relieve of duty (aka, i turned off my kill guys flag) and right under that, it says he is married to ducim tiredminded and has two children >.> he'd rather go fight then be able to be around for his wife a mechanic and his two kids
What would you rather do, slaughter goblins/elves/kobolds/megabeasties, or hang out with your offspring and wife?

I once had a rabbbit from pasture zone jumping over the wall, that surrounds the zone. That must somehow be related to dodging, I believe.
Maybe it's like that bug where you can attack across z-levels, but with dodging.
I await the post when some dorf dodges into the circus.
