Hey, if he can make a concise guide, more power too him. Why keep a brotha down?
But: I've seen their forums, they barely type any language, and I doubt they would ever be able to get their mom's credit card to donate to DF. Go ahead and post a thread though, I don't think it'd add anything. There was probably a thread back when DF was first made public- just like every other forum.
I've got a 3.4ghz single core and have never had problems with DF's speed.
This is like the tenth Let's Play Dwarf Fortress thread on SA.

Er... You do realize that even in a 2d world it would still be hard to gauge distances with only one eye?
Also, as a character in that world you'll only be able to "properly" perceive one dimension instead of two if you have only one eye.To explain, lets first examin our world an apply it to DF:
You are standing looking forward. The Forward-Backward axis will now be called the X axis. The Left-Right axis will now be called the Y axis. The Up-Down axis will noe be called the Z Axis.
Having one eye impares your ability to properly percieve depth, in this case the X axis, so the world is 2D for you, you only see the Y and Z axes.
Now let us assume you are standing in a 2 dimensional universe. Since DF is viewed from above that means that now you have:
Forward-Backward (or X), Left-Right (or Y), but no Up-Down (or Z).
If you have only one eye, you lose the ability to properly percieve axis X.
This leaves you seeing in only one dimension (or the Y axis). So no, that isn't very good.
(I realize my explanation is a bit abstract and not entirely on the spot, but its a nice analogy that helps in understanding.)</STRONG>
I think puke was joking. Anyways, DF is a 2D world that represents a 3D world, so none of this is worth arguing about.
I just wanna know why people who lose an eye apparently become super-warriors. I won't believe it until I see it!
You're supposed to go there with an adventurer and check things out.
