He looks amongst the throngs of students in Commons, using sheer smug self confidence to clear a path with his presence. What a fucking pretentious douchebag.

Alex gives Bernie smile as they meet in the hallway, motioning forwards for her to come with him.

"Ah, yes, thats right. You're Berenice, right? Dom had suggested a expedition to a chicken group among the group from the assembly. You are more than welcome to join use, if you wish."

Alex chuckles to himself before he gets up and straightens himself out a bit, grabbing his staff as he gets up off the bed.

Alex nods sympathetically, though he had never dealt with that kinda shit in school.
"Yes, I bet that would be fairly awful. I'm sure your fellows in the club appreciated your quick and loyal defense of the medium. I have to admit to not knowing much about it, but I won't judge you harshly for enjoying what you enjoy. Its just outside of my wheelhouse and I was fairly surprised when I saw the posters on the wall."

Alex raises an eyebrow at Dom's choice in, ah, entertainment. While he sometimes enjoyed a good Malaccan Woodblock himself, Alex generally kept such things in a folder on his laptop, and he certinanly would not be caught dead putting them up on his wall.
"Those are, uh, some interesting shows you're watching? That and all the guns really brings the room together."

Alex groans under his breath as he sees the name shes put in his phone. "Well, I guess I can never use this phone for work ever." He shrugs the feeling off and gives Scarlet a thankful smile. "Thanks, I look forwards to working with you in the future. Say, do you think we all have the same dorms? We all sort of joined up in one group together at the start,
 and Fate is a real and powerful force in this world."

As soon as Alex hears Crowley's name the smug levels in the room start to raise quickly. There is so much smug coming off that wizard boy that if you could collect smug energy and use it as power you could keep the whole US running for several years. Mystics acknowledge mystics and Alex joins in on any applause that follows the man's speech. Once that is all over he collects himself and sets out in finding his room. A man's home was his castle, and unless he could get a dedicated space, probably Alex's main lab and research area.
