i also had an muscleman adventurer.
but what happened?i was raped by those shitty villagers.
so i modded in a Dick Demon creature, and exacted justice.
heh.
smashed the bastards to death with a penis strike onto head.
They raped you?
Those oversexualised degenerates.
You should have given the thing a mouth, then bitten them. I think you know exactly what i mean.

Also, to the person above me, upon re-reading i think i see what you mean - I misinterpreted your intentions, reading it as though you implied that i was the one making a mistake :)

I have been struck down by a miner. He stabbed me with his pick.

Well, now for Chilton Jr, come to avenge his father.

I think you're in the wrong thread. Here is where you talk about what killed you, this thread is about what you'll do to NPCs that killed your previous adventurers.

"But the overall point of this thread is, how have you lost your most glorious persons;"
"But the overall point of this thread is, how have you lost your most glorious persons; And how would you exact justice if you could?"
Semicolon = Not end of sentence :P

I addressed the first part of the sentence, however, and the second part of the sentence can't really be exacted :P

Edit: "Exacted" was a typographical error of "enacted" but it works just as well haha.
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/exact
Exact
–verb (used with object)
7.
to call for, demand, or require: to exact respect from one's children.
8.
to force or compel the payment, yielding, or performance of: to exact money; to exact tribute from a conquered people.

"To Exact Justice"
English!

Moving on;

I just got bashed up by a Blacksmith, a Hunter, a Mechanic, and a Gem Setter. Im still alive, but i need to find somewere to hide, that i may lick my wounds.

You know what's disturbing about this thread?

Not the fact that the topic is about how to properly gouge a victim's eyes out.

It's the replies from the people who have already tried on such a level that they took the time to research it and find out that it is bugged.

You know why i love Bay12?
Were all a bunch of sick bastards :D
Dwarf Fortress tends to change people.

No it just reveals what people are REALLY like!

Fun?
No, it shows us what fun can be.
It is fun to tear peoples eyes apart to find out you cant dismember them.

Yes well, i kind of thought this until a massive bandit ambush massacred my 28 followers, and maimed me permenantly.
It doenst make it easy, it gives you an excuse to not participate in combat.

DF, like all games, plays out how you play it.

My weary work is nearly complete!
Bodies line the streets, but alas i am now a crutchwalker.
Some bastard peasant smashed my leg repeatedly while i was down, and now the bone is shattered in three places.
But, almost everyone is dead.
Flames line the woods around us, the fields ablaze.
Now to hope i dont get savaged when i try to fight them on crutches.
ARMOK GUIDE MY HAND AGAINST THESE INSOLENT SWINE!

They were quite pathetic. My Bone Doctor fixed them all up on his own, and i just threw a rock at their leaders head, shattering his skull.

Adventure Mode: The only place where tearing a heart apart doesn't kill them instantly.
Well, in reality it wouldnt kill you quickly either.

One of my guys was virtually undefeatable, and was covered head to toe in bronze (at the time better than iron) armour. He was born on a large, mostly desert island in the north, and after training and becoming quite powerful there, he swam south to the mainland. He became over 4 times even more powerful then, and slew countless fierce beasts and warriors. Anyway, I felt like going back to his home. I ran way to the north, and stopped traveling. The little bit of beach before the ocean was an evil area. Anyway, as I was running full speed, I noticed a large trail of blood behind me and before I knew it, I was deceased. I checked the logs and apparently a harpy's pinky toe caught me in the neck as I was running and slit my throat.
Check your PMs in a minute (May be done by the time you read this)

If anyone heres played Manhunt, that basically explains what happened to half the village, and the brilliant use of my Iron Slicing Knife and a rock i picked up.

Now im resting in a camp, licking my wounds and preparing to head back in.

Also, the villagers were crazy! They just attacked poor Axion for no reason, those evil bastards! It was senseless, and malign!
Now if you read into it any further ill hunt you down in your own DF world and rip your eyes out.
Justice is in progress!

Here we stand on the dawn of day
Many lives will be lost to pay
That which is owed to the one they say
Guides the hands, with many he play
Down from the sky comes the light ray
To show the one they live for decay
To show them which not words can sway
That their hands will make the lesser men pay

But first they're shown a path of light
To show the world their dreadful might
But many fail and many fall
Their bodies lain in the Lords great hall
To the many it does appall
But if they knew their true goals more
They'd burn the bodies, just to be sure

Across the world in many places
Some with Swords, Axe and Maces
Be they Human, Dwarf or Elf
Despite their race, they prepare them self
To do the will of the voice, the light
If you knew their minds you'd run in fright

Here we stand, while many sit
Seeing the many with faces lit
But soon they see
Their minds are free
And they know their will
Yet they stand still
And with their will
They become what they are
Its not so bizarre
You were all just too blind to see

Now here they stand

Slaves of Armok

---This is what happens when you ask me to write something while im very tired :P

Edit: Well shit, thats actually not bad :)

DF Adventure Mode Discussion / My plans to deliver justive to a village
« on: January 10, 2011, 10:38:49 am »
Recently, the residents of a Village slew one of my longest living Adventurers, Axion BrightDark. Rest his soul.
Now, in my anger with these scum, i have forged: Chilton DeathHunger, the Pale Hideous Executioner, to deliver justice!

But the overall point of this thread is, how have you lost your most glorious persons; And how would you exact justice if you could? (I may or may not be planning to use these myself if i run out of ideas)
Also, this may take some time to do.
Its a fairly populated village.
