HellMOO PVP (port 8888) has been getting a lot of players during the day, not bad for a few days opened. We had 37 players on, earlier. There are already a few corps fighting for power and this version of HellMOO is always being tweaked to make competition/PvP fun and cool. For the babbies, the instance on hellmoo.org port 7777 has no PvP or robbery. :)

Well HATE already lost, that wasn't hard. :smug:

Also, HATE was built on 98% Hell so.

Psst! Hey you! HellMOO has just (30 minutes ago) launched a new server instance, with full PVP and absolutely no rules. No drama, no badmins, no furries, no crybabies. So if you're not a pussy, join in the fun.

Personally, I have no problems making an archive if that's what people require. BUT I am currently trying to see if I could hand out the wiki reins to someone else.
As you probable know, there has been a few problems lately, usually because I filled my space quota on the web host or because they broke PHP after changes or stuff like that.
I've been hosting the wiki since the beginning but I cannot put any more time into it. I am super busy at work, recently became a father and have other time-consuming projects.
If someone else wants to take over, I can provide with the DB dump and point the domain to your server. The small Google Ads banner at the bottom makes enough money to pay my hosting fees (about $15/month, sometimes more). The site consumes about 2GB/day of bandwidth.

I might forget to even come back to look at this thread so the best way is to send me an email (it's on the wiki), contact me on SA (same user name) or on HellMOO (I'm Dionysus).

Sorry for not being really active and all that. I'm not going to shut the wiki down if I don't find anybody but I really wish I could hand it over.

Looks like everything works now, with the new fancy Mediawiki version!

Let me know if there's any issues coming up.

I'm using this downtime to upgrade from Mediawiki 1.10 to 1.14, we'll see if that fixes the issues.

Fuck, I still get blank pages. I'm chatting with the host owner but he's not really helping for that weird problem. It's getting late here so I'm going to bed.

It looks like it comes and go. So after a few reloads, I can access a few pages, then it fails again.

Just posted this on the wiki: Ok, the DB seems to be repaired and the space issue should be fixed. Let me know if anybody keeps getting the blank pages. If it still happens, I'll have to reload the wiki from an old backup. Ugh.

Let me know if anything else happens again.

That's my user, yes. I've looked around and it looks like the server is full. I cannot even write a single byte on the disk. It says that my quota is full but I'm only using 40% so I'm waiting on the hosting guys to tell me what's happening.

I am aware of the issue, I am getting random blank pages every once in a while. And now I'm getting DB errors. I have no idea what's going on but I'm looking into it.

Edit: Found two corrupted tables, I'm repairing them.

DF Bug Reports / Charcoal not found
« on: September 11, 2006, 07:49:00 am »
I have two pieces of charcoal in a barrel, on a Bar/Block stockpile. I also have 3 charcoal pieces that are on a designated Bar/Block stockpile (or not, removing the stockpile does not fix the problem.)

All smelting or forging jobs get cancelled because "charcoal or coke" is needed. There are no other jobs "reserving" these pieces and so far I've been able to make 2 copper bars before I started to get these messages.

Any idea?
I'm using version v0.21.104.21a.

I've been getting this for a long time now, even after a season change.

I believe the reason is the skeleton stuck behind the floodgate, it's been happening since I drowned a dwarf whose cadaver got stuck there.
