DF General Discussion / Autosave?

Given the large number of crashes I've had playing Adventuerer mode, I think it might be a good idea to implment some sort of autosave, keep a few of them as backups, and not remove saves until the exporting of events from a game is done. One of the crashes I had was in the same general area fighting a cheetah, and each time it killed me, then crashed when trying to export, but I couldn't really provide anything more useful for debug purposes due to the lack of saves.

DF General Discussion / Cooking Plump Hemlets?

Is cooking plump helmets supposed to make their seeds never show up? My latest foretress was doing excellently, and easily made it through the winter thanks to the good supply of meat I brought and about 40 plump hemlet spawns, but they seem to have been cooked and eaten and come next spring, I've only got 5, and maybe 10 Plump Helment Biscuts left.

EDIT: And would it be possible to make it so you can process food plants to remove the seeds without having to use them up? If the dwarves can remove it when eating surely a trained farmer-dwarf can remove the seeds while leaving the edible/brewable parts.

DF General Discussion / Posession/Fey Mood problem

Earlier, I had one of my metalsmiths go int oa Fey Mood.

He then walked outside, stood in the middle of my wood pile, and just stood there until he went insane. Is it possible to have the dwarves complain about the workshop they don't have when it doesn't exist, rather than just standing there?
