Velocity affects damage, not swing speed, as far as I'm aware.

Someone's been feeding the zoomers out behind the residential area.

A wild zoomer adopted a space pirate. Still a wild animal seemingly but we'll see what happens I guess.

EDIT: And the named zoomer has left the map without incident. Huh.

Just lost the orc priest to louise banishing me, after falling through a shaft. I was pretty helpless against larger threats without berold, and well, the abyss will do that. :P

Knew I shoulda looked up the info on them. Still did dang good!

Pretty sure any elemental javelin will "ignite" and do extra damage, with a 100% chance of breaking if it hits.

Also sorry for leaving that orc priest in stasis, but got terraria and uhhh yeah. :P

I intend to finish at least him before the end of the tournament so.

Well you have two options then, go spelunking for more stuff, or summon him and keep trying until you get better at dodging him. I have a hard time dodging him all the time myself. :P

On the plus side, if you're not getting any fallen stars, you might just happen to have tons of floating islands that they keep landing on!

I beat the EoC with iron armor but to be fair I did have a starfury. I still maintain starfury is one of the best weapons for EoC. Mana dump starfury, then use ball O hurt or somethin similar on him.

Just beat my first eye of cthulu, and dang the boss music is good in this game. Oddly enough I had used the starfury as my primary damage dealing weapon as someone mentioned earlier. Irregardless of how useful it'll end up being in the end game, it'll always be a joy to rain stars on that herd of soul eaters following you. :D

Well keep in mind they have the blessing of unlimited MP, so caster ghosts are much deadlier :P

I think they get spell upgrades too.

Finally got this and wow, I've been having a great time. Purposely avoiding spoilers but I got to the edge of the map and took a candle from the dungeon. Says it will attract danger. I fully expect to see the house I built for myself but had taken over by a merchant in ruins when I return one day.

The thing is that elephants are pretty nasty to melee charecters, and death yaks aren't exactly pleasent either. Both at the same time could be a bit overwhelming, but I'm not sure if there's an end of lair vault with such a thing. If there is one with dire elephants like I've heard, that's just flat out out of bounds for most melee charecters until later.

Do not attempt to scout out the bottom of the orcish mines like I did with the lair. Got it. :P

Incidentally does the Hive have a badass end of branch set up too or is it safe to hit the bottom there?

Just got to the branch end of Lair and decided to abort when I noticed a herd of death yaks. Heading to hive next with this orc priest which, incidentally only has one follower, an incredibly badass orc sorcerer named Berold.

Seriyu and Berold go to the realm of Zot.

Yeah, the last floor of the lair is a loooot more brutal now. Might wanna hold off until you finish the hive to do it, frankly.
