DF Dwarf Mode Discussion / Of Wives, Husbands and Children
« on: May 02, 2007, 03:10:00 pm »I was thinking of doing a game and limiting it to about 8 or 10 dwarves and having a "Family game". However, from reading the DF wiki I'm not sure if it's possible.
Will Dwarves who are not a couple have children? If I have 8 dwarves, and let's say half are female, will any of them ever give birth?
If they won't, will the initial seven dwarves ever come as a couple?
If one of the above is true, then is there a way to edit the length it takes for children to mature from baby to child then child to peasant?

The high risk will save alot of time since you won't have to worry about charcoal or smelting coal (except for steel)
