I tried it, and it didn't turn out well for some reason. I had a rampaging bronze colossus interrupting all my dwarves. I was sad to have to put it down. It offed one dorf, but not before making it a legendary wrestler.

And, unfortunately, some politician would probably attempt to use it as a stepping-stone for their careers, and it would be "made an example of" to all the other game developers and hobbyists.I'd like to watch them show screenshots of the game on mass media.

I typically let a few cats out to be adopted for breeding, and cage their kittens. Once they hit the pop cap, I can slaughter some kittens and the cats will replace them in a few seasons. It's a renewable resource!

I don't think you guys understand.
Typically, each square of adamantine gives one unit of adamantine ore and leaves and an adamantine floor. If you were to channel out that floor, it would leave behind empty space. If you were to cave-in that floor, would it turn into more adamantine? If this is the case, you can double your yield like this.
