Maybe stacks break up if they're flung? Put some stacks of coins on a drawbridge, then pull the lever.

Awesome concept and narrative! Following closely. Is it time to suggest Fight Club themed mega projects yet?

That's on the first page. Sorry.

Damn!

It's amazing how far this thread has gone without a single Fight Club reference.

I'm impressed, Bay12.

They remove the lid from the barrel and jump in. They're not seen again until the barrel is empty.

111 - You successfully violate the laws of physics by building a water reactor.
112 - You then burn it down by accident.
113 - The next week, you build one powered by magma.

The glassmaking industry. Something is made out of nothing. That something has a nice value modifier, and I imagine that the thick glass blocks in my fort reflects light in cool ways.

EDIT: Also, Schroedingers weapon traps.

Meanwhile i just noticed that one of the previous, overzealous overseers told the dwarves to basicly fell every last tree within a radius of 10km.

So what is the problem here, exactly?

Actually, no. Let me answer that with an in character post.

Kogan 'Spadger' Vaboklerteth, Broker/Mechanic/Glass maker/God of Lightning - Stardate 5678313.Pi, 253.

Phil, or milk or whatever the new overseer guy is called barged into my office while I was busy studying how light refracts through a glass table while the observer (Me) is drunk and whether there's any difference to when the observer (Still me) is stupidly drunk. (Results are inconclusive, by the way. Light seems to refract differently from one moment to another. Maybe more booze is needed...)

Anyway, he started raving about how every tree in the vicinity had been cut down. I then concluded he was an elven spy and went for a barrel of ale to celebrate my new awesome lightning powers investigation skills.

Kogan 'Spadger' Vaboklerteth, Broker - 1st Sandstone, 251

I've decided to give control of the fort over to somebody else so I can pursue my true passions, glass making and mechanics. Now, who do I turn over control of the fort to?

Ah, yes. He'll know how to do it.

(Uploading save! Hold on!)

They didn't fight. How droll. Traded some more crafts and gems away and got food, sand and other things in return.
