Won't snakes being mischeivous make them pull levers and open cages?

Anyway, if I might make a suggestion: you should increase the population numbers of creatures across the board. Especially the fantasy ones, since we get far too little of them. Take the gremlin, for instance: there can be only ONE per region.

Look, I know everyone has a different opinion on what's hot and what isn't, but people use celcius and you're going to have to deal with that.
Preferably by shifting to it because farenheit is for snowblind saltlicks.
I think the gatekeeping is related to implying that 30 is very hot instead of just hot.

Alright. Vocalizations have been handled for now - applying them to vermin that turn into animal/giant variants should be fine, as they carry over.

New problem: Is there any way for a syndrome to add a prefix instead of a suffix? e.g. "vampiric dwarf" instead of "dwarf vampire." Search has come up empty so far.
There ain't

I don't want to continue any longer.
Talk to someone about it.

Like, now.

Not very docile either. A bull will lower his head before attacking. Cows will just walk up to you nonchalantly and then murder you.

Truly, the bovine scourge is a foul one. If only their meat were not so delicious that we could purge them from this Earth.

DF Modding / Re: Siege weapons mod

Siege weaponry cannot be modded. The best we can do currently is make fake siege engines that are actually creatures.
I not want modificate siege engines. I want make hand weapons for orc with siege ammo. So I need know hardcoded characteristic of vanilla siege ammo.
I misunderstood. Well... you can't set siege ammo as regular ammo. But you could just make a "giant arrow" ammo type and go with that. But if you must know the hardcoded properties, you'll want to ask around the DFHack thread.

Please pardon my adding yet another question into the mix here, but does anyone know what the full range of usage hint tokens are for interactions? I'm wanting to create a resurrection interaction and am wondering if it's possible to encourage primarily using it on corpses of creatures that would be friendly to the "caster" if resurrected.
Unfortunately, usage hints won't help you there. You either need to accept that it will indiscriminately revive things, or limit it to specific creatures.

Trying to do a little speedrun and I keep getting some utterly rotten luck when it comes to rares (always vortex and waller) and level generation. Still, I persist.

Well if they acurately diagnosed depression at such an "early" stage that you wouldn't consider yourself depressive, you seem to have a nice hand of cards.
Apparently I've had it for a pretty long time? and am just pretty ok at dealing with it. Last... week and a half? was pretty bad though, worst it ever got and what got me to find a psychiatrist.

Anyway, glad to have that figured out at least. Will start taking the medication that was prescribed tomorrow and should see some effects in about three weeks.

TNT (As in the TV station) still exists? I just figured it would of been gone by now honestly.
At the very least it's still kicking around in South America.

Well, today I heard something I seriously didn't expect. I was diagnosed with (light) depression.

Having known quite a few folks with depression, I really didn't identify myself with that since I haven't ever felt a... lack of a will to live, low self-esteem, that sort of stuff. But turns out for me it's manifesting as irritability, lack of concentration, and anxiety (which is what I though was the cause of this, rather than a symptom.

I am... pretty chill about it, actually? Mostly surprised than anything else.

Which is why I am posting in the midly sad instead of regular sad, I guess.
