n't worry about not noticing the in-game recorder, I still cannot find the macro function!


Ctrl-r to record, Ctrl-p to play, Ctrl-s to save, Ctrl-L to load.

I meant the function I've heard about where you can make your own macros, not ones related to the in-game recorder. :P

Train surrounding dwarves has me really excited for some reason! Maybe it's just the thought of sending out veterans to rally the dwarven civilization to attack the goblins of the north or something like that. It conjures images of Dunharrow from Return of the King! :D

So I've been hearing that the army arc is the next general direction after economy. But I don't really understand what exactly that entails. What are the planned/official things that the army arc consists of? How will it affect adventure mode, dwarf mode, and worldgen specifically?

Well, I don't see what footage would really help with a DF review, considering that visuals are the main weak point and don't convey that much at all. I think some good footage would be a collapsing structure and/or fighting creatures in arena mode. Or spawning creatures high up and dropping them in the arena 8)

There's not that many DF reviews, so I'd probably read it, and good job for getting DF out into the public! And don't worry about not noticing the in-game recorder, I still cannot find the macro function!

I was lucky enough to have a river, although it is saltwater. I'm managing to sustain myself on saguaro rib cacti for barrel needs. I'll survive yet! 0 point embarks are fun!

Interesting idea, but needs some more work.
The errorlog.txt in your upload shows there are a number of problems that need to be addressed. I'm currently in a bit of a modding frenzy, and have decided to have a go at a cyborg myself.

To what problems are you referring to in the errorlog?

Heh, holy crap. It's not like it really affected gameplay though :P
