I don't know if I should be sad or happy cause I have played every game listed in this thread so far.
As for my suggestion, try these-
Hotel Dusk - Room 215
Great graphic novel(adventure game) with beautiful graphics. The plot is pretty great and I am pretty sure you will stick to the end. They also made a sequel but it is only released in Japan.
Space Invaders Extreme 1 and 2
SIE1 is a remake of the old space invaders with spiced up formula. SIE2 is just marvelous. It has absolutely great soundtrack and sound effects. Every thing that happens just fits into the rhythm of the music(even the bullet sound effect, no matter how hard you try to make them sound bad). I would recommend second part of the series because it is just the first 1 with more stuff.
GTA: Chinatown wars
Self explanatory.
Lost in Blue 1,2,3
Take any game in the series. They are basically survival games with micro management. The only thing that separates this from feeling like Sims is that you have to really manage your resources else you will die pretty soon.
Lufia Curse of Sinistrals
This is an odd one. It is a reboot of Lufia (The SNES ones, I dunno which part) as an Action RPG as opposed to JPRG. The graphics are quite good for the DS and the puzzles are a joy(they are different than previous lufia but not that different) but every time I start to enjoy the game, the camera fucks everything up. Its like the camera is a big fuck you by the devs.
