Holy moly.
I was dissapointed before reading that. Now I am so hyped that I would jizz in my pants with just the mere mention of the game.

I died twice by the hands of eye of cthulhu. Can someone give the recommended stuff for fighting it?
It is very difficult for "the easiest boss" I can only imagine how many brix would be shat while fighting skeletron.

Okay, when I breached my first cave system, I found a barnacle like thing in the background on the floor just without the tongue.
Whenever I attack it with my hammer, it damages me, halving the damage every time I hit.
Can anyone tell what are those?

Okay I am back with another problem. I am pretty sure you peeps would be getting annoyed by now.
So here goes.
It seems that the drive I wanted to format is the drive that stores the bootmgr which means it handles the booting which could be the reason that it isn't getting formatted.
So what I ask now is how could I switch the booting task to the disk that holds windows vista files instead of this one. Please, any instructions should be given as if teaching a baby. Caveman speak would be appreciated.

Sadly finding any magazine or even a disk of linux in the place I live is like looking for the holy grail.

293
boot into linux (without installing it if you dont want to, just booting) and remove the partition using gparted?

And how do I do that?
I am no computer whiz. I don't know shit about Operating systems.

Okay now I have a bigger problem.
You see, I installed vista on a different partition because the previous one didn't have enough space. Now the problem starts from here.
The previous partition in which XP was installed is infected with virus and it seems that it also has some of the previous files of XP as the boot screen of the OS ask which OS to open while giving the choice of Windows vista and "An Earlier version of windows". As everyone would know that the basic solution would be to format the drive but vista refuses to format the drive and "Securom" is obstructing a direct delete. I cannot even delete the partition. The only solution would be to scan and delete the infected files but those are over 1500 and it would take weeks to clear all of them.
Solution plox?

If it is a bug, I'm sure it has a deep and profound meaning.

I did not survive my first fight as the Doctor. Or the second.

Combat in Pathologic is deadly.  Really, really deadly.  About on par with Penumbra, I'd say.

It is the one thing I find odd about Amnesia.

It isn't that you can't fight, it is that you can't even put up a fight. Giving me the impression that I am in some weird bubble.

Though I am probably mistaken especially since I havn't played Amnesia and I am trying not to see it incase I ever do play amnesia.

You really need to play amnesia, it is much more scary than pathologic. Though pathologic, even with its faults, feels weirdly compelling. It feels "Immersive"

Other Games / Re: Planescape: Torment "sequel" being considered?

PST has a better crafted story, but then again when:

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

It makes it easy to close or explain plot holes. I said it's there in spirit, which is the depth of character interactions and choices. That's what I took out of PST. It helped they had, oh, perhaps one of the greatest D&D worlds to fill out the whole game with too.

No bioware would never be able to pull off a worthy sequel.
They would grab a different end of a completely different stick and the flurry of fanboys would try their best to justify the changes.
Just look at mass effect 3. They are making changes to combat whereas people played mass effect solely for the story and the amount of choices(major and minor). Mass effect 2 showed a considerable drop in terms of story when compared to Mass effect 1(but it still wasn't bad, it was just bad in bioware standard) but the gameplay was improved. Now look at 3, the announcements tell us it is going to have less characters and more shooting. Didn't we all go through those type of games at least once a year(Call of duty, battlefield, Gears of war). Bioware just doesn't makes good RPG anymore, all they can do is write good story which is occasionally full of plot holes.
I cared to write this post because Planescape torment is my one of the most beloved game of all time due to the story, any sequel would ruin the charm it provides today and set up new standards for the "Franchise" Example, look at fallout. When Fallout 3 wasn't released, people exclaimed how awesome fallout 1 and 2 were but when fallout 3 was released, idiots jumped all over the people who liked previous installments more than the recent one saying the old ones were "boring, ugly, uninteresting, bug ridden, failing hard at humor and turn based combat sucks" while calling fallout 3 "Innovative, beautiful, original and totally bug free"

Anyone who thinks Torment was about their favorite D&D ruleset just doesn't get it.

Don't deny them their whining platform.  Let them get it out of their system and maybe, just maybe, when the game actually comes out they won't whine about it.

Fair enough... hey guys, I hear the new Planescape will have XBox achievements such as Most Asses Bitten by Morte!

What does it do? Do you have the original installation disks for the OS, or the crappy versions that ship with pre-built computers?

Original OS installation disk(though XP one was a crappy version)
After wasting over 8 hours in scanning and removing all the files in the drive I use, the sites are working again and all the virus is gone.

You see, I would format my hard disk if I could but apparently the windows fail to format them for some weird reason. Oh, and I use my computer to play games.
