"What?!  You've got him so we're--wait, fuck, fuck, that's a guard?  Oh my fucking--Fuck!  Derp!  I thought you fucking Derp had him already!  Fuck, fuck, how do you treat acidic cleaning fluid?!  He's melting!  Fuck Derp, fuck Derp, fuck Derp!"

Uhhhh so I think nerd's probably gonna die, so... stay nearby, shoot anyone who comes near or looks violent (not SAM), and if the nerd kicks the bucket, summon his ghost jmmediately.  And keep it.  I guess.

I don't follow the armor mechanic.  What does "1 of 1", or "2 of 3" mean?  One roll with target number 1, two rolls with target number 3?  Was damage only blocked if the Kaiju rolled equal or below the target number?  That's the only logical explanation I can think of, but it's vauge.

How much damage did Kaiju weapons do?  I'd love to see their arsenal.

Also, I still want to see more about how research works.  Like, enough so that I could roll research turns myself.  :v

We already have a +4 sword.  The lizard's.  It's generally a smidge worse than a normal +4 weapon (unless the target's weak to wind), but it's close enough that I'd rather not waste an upgrade on it.  A bow upgrade for Willis is also secondary, because most of Willis' use right now is in his spells and the web shooters... he's not a normal attack DPS.  We also still just have a fair amount of loot--the two wands need to be identified (and maybe sold), Trence has two backup +3 weapons (which we might as well sell), we have another amulet of life protection (and I'd rather sell both and get a better accessory) (we should keep one and put it on Willis, a 14% EHP boost is no joke.), we have a spare pair of stealth boots, plus they're noncombat and Sessha is wearing a set which wastes a combat slot.... aaand we have some extra scraps.  I might even sell that cloak, it's pretty specialized unless we know an enemy has lightning attacks or mute debuffs.  We might meet Arngrim again, so keeping it is fair.

Dev gave me the current inventory:
Quote
6 potions
5 high potions
3 scan crystals (See enemy stats/equipment)
2 antidote herbs (Cancel poison)
6 smoke bombs (Escape from encounter)
1 restore potion (Remove all(?) debuffs)
0 smelling salts. (Revives)

~4 upgrades of money

Get a price check on metal potions, haste potions, and the usual set of healing items.  Mana potions too.  We definitely need smelling salts, and some full-party buffs for heavy combat will serve us better than slight weapon upgrades, I expect.  Mana potions are also inordinately valuable, since everyone in our party uses mana for some strong stuff.

For accessories, something that grants haste, or stuff that increases mana cap/recharges mana would be a priority.  A strong defensive accessory might be worth giving to Willis, since he's an amazing buff/heal target when Battle Aura is up.

...Assuming Wil didn't just become one of the ghosts, uh, try and climb up and out of the hospital.  Maybe use the boosters to gets some height, if the sky is visible.  Then try to locate the nerds and their guards, and go head over there.  Melt anyone armed, with the ACA.

"Oh, fucking fuck Derp!  I swear, I didn't mean to summon that many, they just kinda... came out.  Fuckers, did I just accidentally kill the building?"

Yep.  Ghosts.  Summon a swarm of antlered ghost ants to batter/eat through the opening until the hardsuit can fit.  Then... start rushing through the tunnels and up floors until reaching ground level/outside.  Skim past people, and presumably use the hardsuit's lights.  This thing has lights, right?  If not, ghost glowworms or something.  Ghosts solve all problems!

Sell the loot first.  Does Trence's leather mantle do anything?  It doesn't seem to grant resistance.  Replace it with one of the life protection amulets.  We also need to get the various unidentified things identified during this, so we know what to sell and what to keep.

After selling loot... the obvious choice would be to go shopping, but I could see a justification for waiting on that.  My first true priority is getting the dragon memory (a collectible!).  After that, finding people in charge would be a good idea, and saving money until after could be useful, both for bribes, and in case we get some kinda items or something from them.

Also, have Sessha give her own ring of elemental armor to Willis.  Both the boys get element resistance, because they aren't massive slabs of HP.  Sessha can wear Willis' cold weather gear, if it does anything useful.

...Could've sworn I posted.

Well.  That explains why -/F and F/- were so similar.  F damage has to get a grade up, then the Kaiju needs to roll about minimum for soaking damage.  F AP also needs to get a grade up, then have the Kaiju roll minimum to get the damage through.  It also surprises me that damage and AP are almost totally unrelated... and that damage upgrades in a very linear fashion.  It strikes me that AP seems superior to damage, because scoring even 1 damage makes it easier to score more hits.  Did we mostly deal damage through AP?  I recall you saying we virtually never did more than a couple points of damage at most.

...It's also amusing that AP becomes worthless against a Kaiju with extra armor, which is the opposite of what I'd expect.

I'm very interested in how R&D works.  For mad scientists and orgs both.  It seemed to me like there was a development cost for every grade gained, possibly multiplied by the stat?  Payload was easier than damage, IIRC.   And then every month you'd get some amount of points.

Oh!  I really want to know what the heck was up with exotic materials!

"Uh.  Well.  Fuck.  I kinda just knocked out the Smiles' entire intranet.  Fuck Derp, they built it like a stack of cards!  I didn't manage to extract any info, either.  Fucking... ugh, okay, old fashioned way.  Richard, I'm coming in; we'll try to grab someone and have them tell us where the egghead is.  Try for a bit, if he seems grabbable we'll pull him out.  Otherwise, we fall back."

Okay, fuck.  Start... crawling into the tunnel and towards the Smiles underground.  Hopefully the rest of the tunnel is traversable while crawling?

"Well my job here is done, should I leave or do something more Wonfrod Wilsonson?"

"Uhhh, well.  I might be able to find the bastard quickly, and if he's nearby you might be able to grab him and just be done with this mess.  Failing that, this place seems to be storage, and I'm hoping I can find caches of something to loot.  Really though, up to you now; I don't care if you go eating heads, just try not cause a commotion near the drone."

((Edited action; if anything's found, you'll be told.))

Hrm.  We've not been able to access any room above 15, then?  That seems fairly logical, since there's only space for sixteen rooms... though the stairs and elevator might not entirely count, since they don't take up a full room's space.  Room 0 seemingly being inaccessible also seems strange to me.  And I'm really curious where room 11's window goes, precisely.

The only thing I can think of is using the trick where you stick a rod in a door and then change the door using the elevator, to test the higher door numbers.  Maybe stick the #2 rod in door 11 on F1, while the elevator's unused, the go into the elevator and put the #4 rod to the up position.  That would give us door 19 with the #2 rod in it, which would translate to 17?  I think?  I assume it just won't work, but I don't understand the puzzle really.  I'd like to try the above with door 18, but I don't think any option actually allows us to slot a rod into it.

Can you think of any other way to get to room 16?  I really feel like it should exist.

Dev, have all the rooms seemed to be the exact same size, and with only four walls?  Or has there been enough variation that the fifteen "rooms" we've seen could actually fill the entire building?

Agh, I didn't realize you'd posted in-thread!

Uh.  Give me mechanics.  Give me your files.  I want your system!  All of it!

...Can't really think of any fluff questions right now.  Everything I wanted to ask has pretty much already been answered.

Keep snooping until we're out of potions, or close to it.  The loot we're finding is way more expensive than a few high potions.

Do you have an updated map/list of doors, Irony?

"Yagyu, we've gotten a connection into the hospital intranet.  Gonna start searching for our target now."

Well, start scanning through all information that can be accessed.  Priority is any kind of information on where the scientist is, and ideally a way to contact him.  After that, maps, layouts, and information on where they keep their coolest/best guns are a secondary goal.  Hey, nothing's wrong with a bit of personal fun!

Oh, and if any information is found on the scientist/possible loot caches, forward that info to Yagyu and SAM.
