Chapter 2: The incompetent Lumberjacks with a strange habit of wandering into the barren treeless tundra while supposedly cutting down trees.

This is the first in what will be the chronicles of Dr. Nosingastås, the chief medical dwarf of the dwarven aboveground outpost known as Inkpoints.  He arrived at the fort as an immigrant, and was happy to see that other than the occasional badger skirmish the fort was relatively docile.

Ever feel that fighting poor bandits wearing an indestructible suit of adamantine armor is unfair?

I've been ill and trapped at home with nothing but dwarf fort to keep me occupied, hence the incessant drawings

My adventurer had an excellent career. Using nothing but his humble dagger he rose to considerable fame, until a swordsman got a lucky shot in and took off his left hand... He calmly returned the favor in spades.

My female swordsdwarf has just been given a job.  Kill Bil.  Bil Dashedbutton the Swordsman.  I wish i had named her Beatrix.

Edit:

We are now standing atop a rainy hill, ready to do battle.  I'm gonna say that the *adamantine short sword* I have is as close to a Hattori Hanzo as I can get, so this should be interesting.

2nd Edit:

After a short swordfight, in which Bill was crippled, I punched him in the upper body until I hit an artery in his heart, and waited for him to die.  Only in dwarf fortress.
