Wondering if anyone knows of any roguelikes with an espionage theme?
Hm, next weekend I'm busy so...I think I'll devote the weekend of the 30th to it. Yes. I'll put out a release at the end of this month, even if there's not much improvement that a user can see.
Does anyone else use this service? It's, essentially, a DRM-free steam, with no client to download. I just snagged Blood Bowl and HTTT on it, because a sale's going on.
the UI was optimized to speed up.
Awesome. How much faster is it?
.
.Here's a mockup of the territory screen (or part of it). Once again, it's not very pretty, and I would invite anyone who would like to to have a go at a better-looking one.Spoiler: territory view (click to show/hide)
I just love Stardock games, GalCiv, SoSE those are great games and it seems apropriate to pay the price asked. But 50 bucks for beta, proudly called 1.08 version? It's not even funny. What was they thinking? I mean Stardock is developer and publisher, what possible reasons could drive them to release this chunk of a code and for that price?
Here's a mock-up of a hypothetical world map screen, though keep in mind that my MS paint skills are very limited.Spoiler: map (click to show/hide)
. Text-based ones will do, we may worry about the layout later.
If the territories are kept to a large enough size, then there will not be too many, hopefully. Failing that, if the option to apply the same instructions to multiple territories is an option, that can allow for easy large-scale management.
Mock-ups of screens will follow later today (I have quite a bit of work to do before uni).
Here's some basic stuff (I'm very open to criticism).
