September 6th, 1939 (Continued)

We've successfully defended Medinine from the Italian attack. Hopefully we can keep them at bay while the bulk of our forces fight in the homeland. Today is also the one month anniversary of the start of the battle for the Saarland.


September 8th, 1939

A substantial amount of German reinforcements have arrived in the Saarland. We'll attempt to get more men to the front lines as well.


September 11th, 1939

We've assumed military control over Australia and New Zealand, mostly so we can use their airforce. They'll also be transporting some troops over.

September 14th, 1939

We've issued war bonds to increase our treasury


We've also begun general mobilization in order to bolster our manpower pool.


September 16th, 1939

We've won the battle of Tataouine, beating the pesky Italians back into Libya.

September 17, 1939

The battle of Saarbrucken is turning into a bloodbath, and not in a good way. After having fought for a little over a month, our troops are highly disorganized and are being grind down by the fresh German troops that fill in for the ones we do manage to kill. We may still be able to go on the defensive if we pull back.



Apparently we outnumber the Germans, and have 1939 infantry (most of theirs are 1931), yet they are still beating us. Unless I'm being an idiot, our organization levels (the little green bar on the right) are too low, and the Germans keep sending in fresh troops while ours have been fighting for a month.

Everything before 'Reroute to Remain' is good. I especially like the first album (thist song is actually very accessible). But that's probably because I have a soft spot for the early Gothenburg melodeath scene (still one of my favorite songs ever), in fact it was part of my introduction to metal in general.

Ahhhh, nostalgia.

And then somehow I came to listen to this kind of stuff...

On another note: Anybody else going to Wacken this year?

Alright, so I think my manager hates me.

Working at a shitty drugstore, we have to "face" all the merch at the end of the day (bring it to the front of the shelf), which I do pretty much flawlessly every time I work, which isn't often because my boss doesn't give me any hours any more.... Because he doesn't think I do anything.... Not to mention there's this other kid who works there who is annoying as fuck and tells my boss (and everyone, even customers) to his face that I'm lazy and don't "face". This kid takes his $7.30/hour (or whatever minimum wage is) way too fucking seriously, like he's trying to outdo me in kiss-ass-ness or something, but I couldn't really give a rat's ass.

To confirm my sanity, I got another employee there (who's actually pretty cool) to make sure that I faced, he said it was perfect.... There was even one time a manager from another store had to sub... he said my facing was perfect.... Convince me not to quit the next time I go in, cause I'm so fucking tired of this bullshit.
