Ozyrat, nothing wrong with the "blitzkrieg" itself. The Germans' failure in Russia and North Africa was not due to lacking strategies or poor leaders, or quality of equipment. The mistake was done when they began the war - they gambled, could they secure enough land and resources to be able to hold long enough, even out-build the Allies? In hindsight, they never stood a chance. Rommel's final offensive to El Alamein was delayed by weeks due to lack of tanks, equipment and especially fuel, by the way. The Italians failed to escort a single convoy across the Mediterranean unscathed.I disagree entirely. While Barbarossa was indeed a gamble, there was certainly a chance of the intended victory (That is, capturing the three key cities of the Soviets before winter returns).
North Africa was definitely a failure, as it really rested upon the British being unable to easily send their fleet into the mediterranean. With only a few days journey between England and the waters off of Italy, there's no wonder supplying Libya was a logistical nightmare. I'd say Franco is to blame for that, though.

Nice. I have no experience playing this game, so I do not know how much of this is due to the natural bonus of the Japanese in the early game and how much is due to your strategic thinking, but it sure looks good so far.
Could you attempt an attak on L.A./S.F. in the next few month, for fun and profit? Bending history so far would be awesome.
Sorry, I meant Ternate.
