It sounds a bit like a problem I had with building some walls. There were rocks in the way and the construction kept getting suspended. Even when I cancelled the construction the rock could not be moved and nothing could be build on it. The way I solved it was to forbid, unpause, then unforbid it. I seem to remember that getting it to shift.

I can't think of why that wouldn't work.

Actually if you have a look only the Legacy versions are up. I think this is due to SDL licence changing which Toady mentioned at some point. You CAN still download them, but there's no direct links to the SDL versions anymore.

I didn't have much luck either. Guess I'm not much of a hacker...

It remains to be seen whether someone cracks it, but until then it's no DT, previous version, or a rather long winded process of migrating saves between 31.12 and 31.13 to use DT every time you want something done.
