Tomcat was unable to move for a moment while he hovered to the ground. His anger was still there, despite the message he heard. He was losing ground, and he had to be sure that they weren't just lying to him to make him stop. The lost ground could have easily been regained, but it hardly seemed like a good plan. If they knew he was following they'd just stop him again. He brushed the dust off his coat and matched their speed, maintaining his distance, waiting to see what they'll do.

((There is an OOC chat Zako. I'd suggest asking there to avoid clogging up the RP thread with discussion.))

Lonnie felt a sudden snag on his leg and started to fall forward. He gasped in surprise, but managed to get his hands in front of him in time to do a flip. He lost his flat cap in mid-air, revealing his pointy cat ears. "Want to play rough do you!?" He took a few quick steps to regain the ground he lost and dived at the mysterious assailant with great ferocity. He let out a small shout as the distance between them grew smaller and smaller.

Tomcat broke into a sprint after the two following the van. He had no idea what was happening, but they were all headed in the same direction anyways. He called out to the two on the run, "Who are you?" At worse he could be attacked, lied to, or both, but he may also find a new ally.

((So... How's the crime fighting and stuff going to work? Will our GM handle it?))

I would hope that we aren't going to make scenarios up on the spot. That would make it a lot more confusing very quickly.

"Without knowing who you are in the first place? They might just try and have us arrested. There are plenty of loons popping up around the city, so it wouldn't surprise me."

"Well... Most museums aren't after money. If we want to get it legitimately we'd have to have them agree to give up the blade. If we were more well known they might just give us the blade."

"Look, we can't just take it. We can look at it later, but we still have a lot to discuss. We don't even have a solid plan on how we're going to start fighting crime. Let's just find the Shadow and get this over with. After that we can look into helping Sigurd."

Let's just agree to scale back on the awkward comments for now. It'd be best if Toady didn't have send warnings to people.

I think the comments from everyone have kind of been going over the top in general lately. Before it was calling people cute, but now it's nipples and 'I'll be in my bunk' for a lot of pictures. To be honest it's kind of getting awkward, even if I am into that.

Don't feel insulted Descan, a lot of people have been going crazy with the comments in this thread lately. It's not just you.

I haven't forgotten about this. I have the flu, and probably won't get back to this for a day or two.

(Indeed. Personas are more from the soul than mind. We could use a psionic. We do need more attackers though. Sigurd's limited to Loki and Richard's meant to be a jack-of-all-trades.)

((My character's supposed to be like Nightwing, but more inhumanly agile and less good with gadgets. If he had to do a head-on attack he could hold his own.

Actually, our team is pretty rounded. We have two attackers, a stealth guy with money and maybe gadgets, an all-rounder, and a psionic.))

EDIT: ((We should have an OOC chat. This is getting ridiculous.))

((Maybe if you focused on more of the mental side? We don't have any characters that use their minds as literal weapons. Personas are close, but not that literal.))

Lonnie stood up, "We should continue this conversation somewhere else. There is still a lot to discuss, but I doubt the cafe would appreciate us staying without buying a lot more coffee. I'll be outside." He casually walked out of the cafe, looking around for the Shadow, who disappeared on them.

"Yes. I still have access to police records. The precinct basically just moved me out to an apartment to keep the spotlight off them."

Lonnie turned to the Shadow. "Yeah. I'm not really getting a whole of money. My old precinct pays me a bit plus rent, but not nearly enough to buy a base. As for finding villains we can start with police blotter and work our way up. It'd be a slow ladder of information, but we'd eventually find the leader."
