Timeline Summary:

Kzel still needs to post his winter log, CrimsonEon and kopout seem to have abandoned mid-year, billybobfred managed to kill everyone and reclaimed, and Luftwaffle did the same, only more subtle. I can't play because of my own rules, and Di has started, but hasn't told us anything yet.

I hope that somewhen someone will finish a year with me still alive! :)

Reminder: Thursday's the deadline, keep it up!

Are you using a graphics pack with default graphics, or a mod that is supposed to be used with a graphics pack? In my raws, iron is £, as usual.

It's not so awesome if you have evil stuff. I embarked on a border between an evil mountain full of eyeballs and tendrils and a normal conifer forest. The difference hurts my eyes even more than the white and purple wriggly things. Also, I dug some dirt out under the forest for testing. Only eyeballs and tendrils will grow. Furthermore, eyeballs are starting to grow over the green stuff.

Anybody in for a try?

I dunno what grazing animals will do.

They don't have the [GRAZER] tag, so they won't starve.

It seems that your dwarves were interrupted while carrying a swarm of bees. I reported that bug yesterday. They let go of the bees, but don't lose the installing task. Then they hang around until the tasking beehive is slated for removal.

Grass shouldn't even be growing inside, maybe theres a problem in the raws.
Edit: Is it [PLANT:CAVE MOSS], or [PLANT:FLOOR FUNGI] ?
working as intended i believe.

Dig into the caverns, it's awesome there.

Testing has confirmed that dwarves will survive much greater falls if they land on a live puppy. So if they all fall down the same square, the first goblin to survive the fall should act as a cushion to the goblins following him. But it's pretty hard to make them all fall down the same square. A better bet is to fill the pit with unused kittens, they will survive even if they are dumped from the top.

Oh hell, I hope the radius of 3D clusters is shortened a bit to compensate for the extra stuff on the other levels.

I think the large cluster mechanism will be updated to have more variations, not just one big fat blob o' microcline right in the middle of every map square on every z-level. Think of a bag of marbles, not a coin stack.

Also if I want to do a timeline, I just use the save linked in the first post and start now, right?
Right.

The poll was planned for today. I have three unfinished years.

Two more weeks should be enough to finish a whole year. I look forward to some new timelines.
