For a variety of reasons, my dwarves are descending into madness, and my FPS rate is 1/10th of what it normally is. It's making my sweet fortress really hard to play.
Also, two questions:
What is a good use for Giant Desert Scorpion venom?
What is the function of a window? I have an artifact window made of dematoid and I want to know what to do with it.

Blocks. Expect to build your first mason's shop out of wood so that you can start making them. This is always an option, because you can dismantle the wagon.
(If I had my way workshops would be made out of tables, but again, we can discuss that some other time.)
6) Not going to make a lot of friends here, but there's too much Adamantine. Make it MORE difficult to mine than normal, not super easy.
