« on: July 01, 2007, 05:40:00 pm »Oh, and to explain the random chairs lieing around, I needed to encrust furniture but didn't want chairs to be encrusted. I built them because some dwarf was unhappy due to lack of chairs.

There are 9 statues (all encrusted with turquoise and made of dark stone) in my tomb. I have no clue where the turquoise came from. It was there when I got the fort.
Oh, and in order to tell them what to decorate you have to make it so the item you want decorated is the closest/only available item of the type. I messed up a bit, though. There's an encrusted table floating around somewhere and then the anvil, like I mentioned, is also encrusted.

« on: June 28, 2007, 09:37:00 pm »So, Spring has sprung and all that. I've been Overlord for one full year. My tomb is finished. I think I'm gonna retire. Let the dwarves work everything out. I'll just stay and brew everything.

« on: June 28, 2007, 08:35:00 pm »Well, later came. The dwarf went insane. Killed 1 child, 1 cat, and 1 dwarf before the recruit put him down. Don't matter to me, though. My tomb is almost done.
Oh, a tantrumming dwarf destroyed the bridge. Gah, all those dwarves failing to path almost drove me nuts. I've put in place a temporary fix. It should work for now.
Winter came, too. We have enough food, so no worries there. My tomb should be finished by Spring.

Well, my tomb meets that requirement. My coffin itself is embedded with turquoise, diamond, red spinel, aquamarine, aventurine, and clear diamond. Each statue in there is embedded with turquoise. The whole tomb+entryway is smoothed and engraved. The entryway is designed to be flooded immediately after I am placed in my tomb.
Epic and pointless enough for ya?

Migrants came last month. One died by elephant. I don't care; he was worthless. My tomb is being smoothed as we speak. The channel and floodgates designed to flood the entryway after my death are almost finished. The mechanic just needs to finish installing the lever and linking it. Speaking of that, earlier one mechanic was possessed. He carries around some mechanism of some sort. How quaint. And I have found the chasm. That should help my fame. But my tomb... Ah, my tomb. I shall never be forgotten; and never forget myself. As many things as could be have been engraved with turquoise (including the anvil). I shall live on in history.
