Where is the file I can check to see wich skills increase wich attributes in adventure mode?

Check the wiki here.  It has a full list at the bottom, but it's pretty badly formatted ATM so you should probably use ctrl-f to get what you're looking for.

Adventure mode, where it's perfectly normal to have conversations like this.

I just found when I grab a bow with my left hand and some arrows with the right hand , then I [T]hrow those arrows out ,it only improves the thrower and archer skills , It doesn't affect bowman skill .why ? maybe I should put these arrows in a quiver ?

 ( Genesis Mod installed )

modified : I tested , a quiver still doesn't work .   :(

You need to [f]ire the bow to actually use it to shoot arrows.  It's pretty much useless, since I think that throwing gives you the same level of damage and it doesn't have a long reload time.

Break everything that can conceivably be broken. I'm sure that was your plan anyway, but do it and see if the goblin still stands.

Alternatively, punch his skull through his brain and be done with it. Then find another goblin and see if the same thing happens.

It is odd, though. I've always assumed things would fall over if you broke an ankle, never mind the entire leg.

I've noticed that (bipedal) enemies always fall over if you break a bone in their foot, possibly also in their upper and lower legs.  I'm not sure if breaking joints like that has the same effect.  It should, but Toady may have overlooked it.  Also, even though it's unlikely, check to see if he has a crutch in his inventory.

I've gotten to the site of a megabeast cave, and my directional indicator says ***. Unfortunately, it says that as long as I'm in the (pretty wide) general area and I have no way of telling where the entrance is. How can I find out?

I'm pretty sure that *** means that you're standing at the exact location of the entrance, not just standing on the same map tile.  Try going down a z-level to see if there's a cave in the hillside below you.

Nope, the area is completely flat (no hills etc) and there's a certain square about the size of a map tile which is the area of the cave entrance (supposedly) that I can't fast travel out of. I looked up and down a Z-level throughout the entire area but the only interesting thing was a pool of water without nothing else around or in it.

Hmm...are you sure there aren't any (down arrow) or (cent sign, c with a line through it) symbols in the area?  That's weird, I've never run into any caves that I couldn't find by just following the compass.

After a bloody fight I only loot "large" equipments ! My Mighty Dwarf can't fit in those "large" equipments !! I went to a town and only find "large" equipments on sale !!!
what should i do ?  :(

When you're dwarf/elf/goblin sized, then human-sized equipment is too big for you to use (which is also what bandit camps seem to have).  You need to find armor from elves, dwarves, or goblins.  Goblins are easy to find and give you iron armor and GCS silk clothes, which is pretty useful.

Sneaking isn't the problem, it's running out of ammo before I die. >_<
I guess I could just travel to a town first and repeatedly sell sand from the floor to stock up on arrows.

You could always resort to throwing rocks.  Also, don't waste ammo once your enemy is on the ground, it's almost impossible to hit them that way.  Bash him in the head if he's unconscious, or save him for last if he's awake but crippled.

Adventure mode, where you hold on to the limbs of 6 people at the same time. With your teeth.

Adventure mode, where you used to be able to grab onto people with every single body part you have.

Fucking assholes. Same here.

Funny, either I escape with just heavy bruises or I break a bone, pass out, and get my head caved in.  Or I go into a martial trance (=/= marital trance) and slaughter them all.

Here's one of my own questions: does throwing a heavier object make the relevant stats (strength, agility, toughness, willpower, focus, spatial sense, kinesthetic sense) increase faster? For that matter does moving around with a bunch of heavy crap make strength increase faster than carrying nothing?

I'm almost certain that it does not.

Adventure mode, the only game where picking rocks and throwing them down, them picking them up, repeating add infinitum make you godlike in a weekan hour.

FTFY

Adventure mode:  the only game where I've beaten someone with his child's corpse.

If a bad dwarf dies in Hell, does... he... not... die? Or does he go to Heaven? Or does he discorporate and go somewhere worse?

1. You can choose which container to put an item you are holding in, but items picked up from the ground when your hands are full automatically go to the first container listed.

One thing to add to this:  I think that arrows and bolts automatically go into a quiver instead of the backpack.

Adventure mode, where shopkeepers will pay for rocks you picked up off their floor.

Adventure mode, the only game where a scratch on your toe means instant doom.

No, it means slow, eventual doom from infection.  A broken toe, however...

No, it can lead to passes out, which won't itself kill you but will leave you completely defenseless.

I'm pretty sure that scratches don't lead to passing out, just broken bones. only broken bones do.  (edit for clarity)

Adventure mode:  the only game where a skilled enough fighter can stab someone in the arm without him even noticing.
