No update right now since i have some important stuff i have to get done today.

Most of the suggestions involving using more then 2 worker clones so i'm just going to remind you that 1 basic 2 worker and 1 combat clone diddn't get any sleep last night. Since having them sleep for the full 8 hours now would mean you are down on manpower for a while i'm happy for an arrangment where they sleep for 4 hours now and then you send them to sleep 2 hours before sundown (or something simular). Of course that would mean that there isn't enough room for all the other clones to sleep during the night so it probabley ins't such a good idea.

EDIT: I'll put how many charges are left in the lasers next turn if i remember.

Firstly, did we get the money for the genetic material we sold?
You havn't sold any yet since the turn you were meant to you were awoken from your slumber and then shot down lobster wolves from the rooftops. I diddn't think you could sell things under those conditions.

Turn 38 - 43
(Combat Turn 6)
Colony:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
You kill another lobster wolf and the rest begin to retreat. You suppose that's fair, you did kill quite a few of them with flashing lights and you imagine that would be quite scary to an animal that has never seen a laser before. Of course they could also be reciving orders from some crazy planet-wide hivemind but that only ever happens in sci-fi action movies.

Looks like the fight is over. You have a choice to make, either kill a few more of them while they escape or let them live either way buisness will go back to normal next turn.

You feel like you've learned a few things from this episode.

You have gained 20xp!

You now have 64xp total, another 36 and you'll level up!

You currently have 55 yollars

Day will come in 2 turns.

Do our clones gain experience by the way?

I'm not sure. There isn't much to learn if you are a worker or a basic unless you were to specialise in a certain area like mining but even then it wouldn't change your performance to much since that is all linked to the equipment so it would mostly be a name thing. And since it would be a name thing you shuld just be able to say that those clones are miners because they have mining equipment just to make orders easier.

Combat clones could probabley learn a thing or two as well but i'm not so sure how it would effect them. I don't want it to be a damage thing since then it would take a bit longer to do the damage numbers. Maybe they could just score more critical hits since I don't roll any dice for that or anything.

Of course with any leveling I have to keep track of it all so if they do it won't  be to detailed.

I'll try and come up with something when I update (which since I am going to sleep soon could be right now or when I wake up tommorow).

Turn 38 - 43
(Combat Turn 3)
Colony:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
You order one of the basic clones inside to go get a fence section and lie it against the accomodation module for use as a makeshift ladder.

Some of the smaller wolves can now fit through the fence!

You and the other armed clones concentrate fire on on of the wolves that got in. And thanks to some luck you all manage to hit roughly the same spot on it's head and the beam goes straight through killing the wolf and even hitting the wolf behind it for some bonus damage. Unfortunately the worker clone's inexpirience caused him to miss and hit the other wolf.

One of the injured wolves flees.

You left two laser next to the cloning module.

Those are spares. In case one of the weapon our combat clones has now run out of carge, they'll pick up the spare and use it. More effective then having non-combat clones waste shots and time.

Actualy that is the tree logging equipment. Close up they look like vacume guns with saws on the end and a little bag the stuff gets sucked into.

I draw everything large and then shrink it down so that if the need arises I can enlarge them (like now).

Turn 38 - 43
(Combat Turn 2)
Colony:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
You take a basic laser off one of the worker clones and then tell everyone without a weapon to get inside. The wolves are tearing down the fence.

Two of the wolves are dragging off the corpse of the basic clone.

The wolf that was being attacked with the normal laser has gone limp.

Due to the worker clone's lack of combat training he only scores a glancing hit.

(Combat Turn 1)
Oh my I am being woken up!
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
You wake up to a worker clone shaking you. He says that the colony is under attack!

Colony:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
There are Lobster wolves attacking from the bottom left and the bottom right. It appears that they got a basic clone already. There are lasers and the lobster wolf calls in in the air and it feels like time is slowing down~ (While in combat turns do not pass)
And to make things worse it has even starting to rain.

You ask the combat clone you left in charge and he says you were asleep for 6 turns and that the first they knew of the attack were the dieing screams of that basic clone.

Did we send the genetic samples? If not, what are the mechanics regarding sending (and possibly receiving) them?

I completely forgot that, i'll go back and edit the turn.
Sending and reciving DNA is just like contacting someone and isn't really that special. It is just information after all.

EDIT: Done.

Turn 37
Colony:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
You contact Greg's teeth and claws and Agricorp colony beta about the DNA you have aquired. Greg's teeth and claws say that the spinlet worm DNA isn't very useful but they will pay you 50 yollars for it anyway. Agricorp colony beta is very interested in the sprout DNA and offers 500 yollars for it.

You get one of the basic clones to help you load the smoked meat into the cloning module since you have better alternatives (although everyone is getting tired of cabbages).

The other combat clone has returned with the vest and laser. It occures to you that you now have more lasers then people who can accuratley fire them so you set the cloning module to make 2 combat clones. Ordinary ones will do until you can get some more advanced alternatives and if you must you can always sell them later.

You decied to go to bed so you put the combat clone in charge and tell him to wake you and the other combat clone up if anything goes wrong. You order one basic clone to put the rest of the meat into the cloning module and when he runs out to do the same to some vines. You tell the other 3 clones to keep producing and setting up fences.

As you head to the accomodation module you notice that the agriculture module is down to 27% of it's stored water. This is suprising, you diddn't even know it needed water. Although you were wondering how it was actualy growing those plants.
