Other Games / EU III Expense Screen Crash?

Ok, I am playing EU III. I check my income per month, and I find out that the amount of money I gain (Or rather, lose) per month is... less the satisfactory. So naturally, I want to see where the gaint black hole that sucks up all my money per month is. I go to National Statistics, start move the slider to expenses, and a little while before I get there, boom, the game crashes. I am currently playing the Heir to the Throne Expansion, because I am too lazy to get Divine Wind.

And speaking of crashing, whenever I play too long into the game, it crashs automaticly. Luckly, I set auto-save to monthly, and its normally only happens every time I play for like, 4 hours, so thats not too much of a priority at the moment.

Can someone please tell me what is happening?

Xanatos Gambit: A plan in which all outcomes favor the person who made the Plan.

I was on a RP thread one day and I was about to fight someone. I was thinking about how the battle would go when I realised, I had made an Xanatos Gambit. Be aware that this was in a city being attacked, and that the "Patron Spirit" thing was something that increased my stats.

(AI Paranoia: We cannot use any AI cores to guide our Ships) They have a few Crystals that can projects blue fields. Sounds like something out of a Japaness MANGA! (Crystalline Deposits: We start with Shields, and they are better then anyone elses Shields to boot.) A Remnant ship crashed there one day, Killing thousands of innoce- What? Remote area? No Carnage? How boring. (Remnant Wreckage: We start with level 3 Warp Drives) And for some reason, EVERYTHING has to have a gaint deck. EVERYTHING had to have a moument. EVERYTHING needs to have a friken 6,320 dollar toilet! (Logically Inept: Causes everything to be more expensive)

: Now thats over, We can take a look at what they have in that tiny little unimportant planet of theirs.

General Discussion / What do you value the most?

The premise is pretty basic. You list your three highest values, from most valued to least. Here are mine:

1. Personal Honour
2. Maturity
3. Movement

You can explain why you value the things listed as well, for example: When I listed "Movement" I mean just moving around, and doing something active. I kinda discovered this about myself, and it would certainly explain why I hate doing the dishes and Homework. Also it would explain why I never sit in my chair normally, constantly pace, and love things like Parkour.

You wake on your bed. You just had an awful nightmare.

As you get up, your apartment lays out before you. Its quite messy, with only the Flag with the Athenian Griffon standing out.
Next to your bed, there is a table with a flyer.

Light shines through your bed room window. Outside of which you hear something that sounds like a chant or something. Nothing ominous, but like a protest chant.

What now?

As if the title was not self explantory enough, we are here to create an alternate history for earth.

We are here to change the boring old and samely history of Earth to a new one. We are to create and change the nations, Places, And Events that took place in those times. However, there are rules.

1. Everything from Before the 13th century has happened the way it did happen in real life. You cannot also change anything futher then the current day
2. Nothing too insane, like nuclear armageddon or Zombie take over. Also, no Super Mega-Empire that control entire continents. Keep the sizes of Nations, and even Empires Realistic.
3. Be respectful to and use other entires to enhance your own contributes!

Here is the wiki that shall be the tool for our new world order history.

I have already put something in there. Build upon that or create your own bits!

Have fun! No sgin-up needed!

I have just gotten Shogun total war 2. Everytime I start it up, it gets stuck on the start screen, and does not move. It has not frozen or crashed, because I can move around the mouse and my computer still works afterwards.

How do I get it to work?

It is a time of despair. A time of plauge.  A time of cruelty.
It is the year 2134, and the Fargian Empire controls major footholds on three planets. The amount of land it controls is impossible to count.
But, the greedy Emperor of Fargian wishes to add a whole planet to his Emperial Regime. Due to the fact that no way of inter-system travel as of yet, this is great move.
However, the soldiers sent to the planet, named "Sargian", did not know that they were in fact, damned, for Sargian, is not a easily conquered world.
Nor is it Merciful.

Ok, as you might know, the frist New World flopped. Mostly because I bit off more then I could chew. This time around, I made things easier for me so that we can at least start and get a few turns in this time.

As you know, there are 3 stages. These stages are: Colonization, Stabilization, Modernization. The winner will be the player who becomes the most prosperous by the end of the third stage. Prosperous meaning that you have become the most successful in the most fields.

You are trying to colonize this world. You may notice that I have thrown off most of the lorely beginning from the last game because I am TRIED and BORED. I am not in the mood for creating lore and shit. I'll let you do that.

Note that the colors on the map are generalizations of the terrian
Green is Mostly fertile land.
Light green is harsher land, and perhaps some hills.
Dark Green are very heavily forested areas, such as Jungles and swamps.
Gray areas are high lands, Mountians and large hills, to say.
Blue is major rivers and such.
