Title.

I'd want a visualizer that is:
  • Easy to use
  • Looks simple
  • Shows multiple Z-levels at once, AND shows only 1 Z level at once (selectable option, so I could watch a single floor or a large statue etc.)

If anyone has a screenshot, that would be cool (to see what kind of image it gives)

This lazy bum just sits in my bed, and if I remove it doesn't he just stay where the bed was? How could I move injured dwarves into locations where the could be injured?

Keep them in cages (naked) and make azoo around them. Have the dwarves laugh at them, this should be humiliating for them.

After you catch something cool (dragons or something else like that) make them fight against it.

Or have them be target practice for marksdwarves. Make them carry 1 wooden bolt at a time, so the gobbo doesn't die to an instant barrage of bolts.

Oh, almost forgot. Leave their socks on.

Aww chucks, that means my outdoor traps are not working. Better make improvements.

Also, somebody said that this can be used to train dorfs to swim - How does one do it? Weapon traps don't activate on dwarves.

Use him to train your dwarves, take the naked gobbo and make him fight against a new recruit or two(geared)
Or feed them to your dogs.

You should get rid of him. Even if he forms 1/7th of your population, he will do nothing but occupy a free bed, eat your food and drink stuff.


He will never do anything good for your fortress.

Sorry to break this to you, but it is an old concept, called "Corridor of misery" or something like that.
Basically make a long corridor filled with trainign axes and as the enemies dodge them, pit of spikes/magma/water/bloodthirsty creatures/abyss awaits them.

I always make loads of lead coins with all the lead sitting doing nothing in my fort. Then I trade it away.
Imagine the traders testing if the coins are real

Anything can use the [CAN_LEARN] tag in so much as it will let them gain stats in fighting abilities. I don't think other races benefit at all otherwise, getting a hammercat is just the system thinking that any stat can be applied to any creature with [CAN_LEARN], it's the same reason you get invading trolls with various civilian job titles (I got a Troll Administrator once, gave me a good chuckle).

So [CAN_LEARN] is a good tag on war animals like elephants and dogs?
What about dragons, are they more Fun when they can learn? I mean, it'd be horrifying to be attacked by a dragon which has studied politics for 4 years.

Ghosts come only in evil biomes, I think..?
They scare dorfs. Some are hostile.

Also, no longer easy underground farms - they need irrigation.
Also, magma seas.
