...some choose your own story game again, but I want some sort of illustrations to go with it. That's sort of a problem though because I am a fucking horrible artist.
This, or just more stories with pictures, I've always considered them to be a bonus. That and I too can't draw.

Well, the voices in your head seem to have gone for 'Merchant of Stabbing' more often than the other names so you'll guess that'll be your new Super-Villian name.

You then decide to go rob a factory because, well. Why not? You could have some fun killing people and get some MP for these lovely new ideas in this head of yours.

(14) You find a suitable factory on the cities outskirts and decide to make a smash and grab raid on the place. You lead your forces to a one of the factories walls and have diggerbot open up a path for you (5+1) as normal it fails to do anything more than weaken the wall so you order General Drill-Hand (the drill zombie) to take down the wall (4+1) he decides to eat it instead.

(2+1) At that moment a military jeep drives up to your location and five soldiers jump out. Quickly you order your zombies to hide in the grass and play dead as you hurriedly pile your robots and self into the van (3) luck must really hate your name and as you climb in several bullets pass by you. Well this isn't quite the raid you were hoping for. You then order your zombies to attack the soldiers in the hopes that the zombies presence would demoralize them and let them steal their car (7+1+1+1) Your zombies charge and neither side is at an advantage so you pull out you gun and (9+1) use up its remaining three rounds firing wildly. Panicking ever so slightly you run into the fray yourself to try and help (15+1+1+1+1) you finally manage to start killing troops and quickly finish off the group.

You pack your zombies into the van before looking back at the abandoned jeep. You decide you could strip it of parts and revive two of the killed soldiers to drive it home with you.

On the way back (20) you manage to avoid everyone on the roads and safely drive back with your new aquisition and minions. Looking at the machine you estimate it could equal... 919MP when taken apart or it could be used as another vehicle. You decide to weigh the pros and cons of  using it as so.

Jeep stats:
  • Four seats
  • Not wanted
  • Obviously military
  • No guns on it
  • Can be taken apart for 919 MP

Oh and your two newest minions were equiped with normal Assault rifles which you add to the gun pile.

You then spend design a zombie generator before considering adding some more roboric parts to the zombies. However to do that you'd need to experiment for a bit with surgery (which could risk losing a zombie) and you'd need more MP to do all the experiments you want to.

After waking up feeling refreshed you decide to think up an evil-super-villiany sounding name to shout at people in future, you of course decide to leave the naming to the voices in your head, it's not like they've got anything better to do than come up with super-villiany names anyway.

You then fix diggerbots drill, and decide to test it out on one of the zombies hands. Yep, it still drills through things, you've got a hand to prove that. However, as you look around for your tools to re-attach the hand one of your zombies eats it. You shout at it for a few minutes before realising what an opertunity this is. Half an hour later with a bit of reinforcment to the zombies arm you manage to fix a drill to it. You then order it to dig you a another room (10+1) it replies by digging you a small room and then trying to eat the wall, you laugh at it before shooing it back to the zombie tunnel, you can't decide what to use the small room for yet though.

You consider attaching a Generic Asault Rifle to Siren Bot before remembering that you haven't yet designed any method to remotely control the firing mechanism and lack any MP. You also remember for no reason how your robots are powered by uh... Batteries! Yeah, thats right. Loads and loads of batteries... Magic ones! That you can only use for that puprose and are in your pockets at all times... You decide to design a solar panel anyway, if only to quieten the voices in your head. You also design a 'Weapon firing device'. It should allow you to turn Siren bot into a killer if you have the parts.

You glance around and check the dead guards body for another pistol (16). He was armed with another generic pistol. You then start furiously summoning imps from his blood. 10 are summoned before you decide the soldiers are too close. You then head towards the foyer.

On your way to the foyer (3) you hear some gunfire and just make it to cover in time to avoid a lethal volley of... Darts? At any rate you try to order your zombies to take similar cover (7) and five of them do. The other five decide to eat your attackers. Apparently darts aren't that good against zombies and two zombies manage to make it to the soldiers. Deciding that you'd best push the advantage you send the other 5 zombies and your ten imps to go attack the... (1) 20 soldiers. Well, you didn't think this one through. Recovering from the zombie charge the soldiers quickly get to work on killing your minions killing nine of your imps and a zombie. Panicking slightly you (20+1) pull out both your handguns and start firing wildly killing 15 soldiers in as many bullets since apparently you're an action hero and thus capable of mowing down better-trained and armed soldiers like that.

 The remaining five (5) reply by continuing to fire at your minions and you, (19) though they fail to re-kill anything and in fact another one falls to your zombies. Deciding to finish them off quickly you (17+1) take carefull aim with one of your handguns and fire at them. Only one still stands after your second volley. He (1) manages to get enough space in between your minions and him for him to fire again... And manages to kill all your zombies and your last imp before blood loss gets him.

Swearing you quickly revive the military as zombies zombies (for some reason you can't revive zombies) and summon 15 imps before rushing into the foyer. Outisde you notice a large number of military vehicles surounding the bank as you clamber into your van and quickly try to turn it on. (20) For once your mechanical minions don't fail you and not only do you manage to retrive the van but you also manage to get all your robots in it without getting shot to death! (11) However, as you start to load the zombies into the van the military realize that they're supposed to stop you escaping and open fire. You manage to cram 7 zombies in before the gunfire starts and order the rest to hang on as you drive out. None of them last more than a few seconds under the concentrated gunfire.

(17+1) The van however fares much better and manages to break through the military vehicles with no problems. However as you drive home a (11) small squad of police cars remember they're supposed to chase you. You decide to let your imps handle this (14+1) and the police quickly stop chasing you as their windscreens smash and angry imps burst forth.

Finally you get home and decide to check out the soldier zombie equipment. (11) It's surprisngly average fare for some sort of special forces team. Each zombie has approximately one clip of tranquiliser darts left in their assault rifles, a generic pistol with two clips of actual bullets, a combat knife, a fragmentation grenade and generic body armour. You remember a note in 'A Begginers Look At The Dark Arts' on how zombies only use weapons if ordered, prefering their hands before going to bed, it's been a long day for you.

Remember you were supposed to complete a SUPER IMPORTANT MISSION for the GENERIC SPACE FEDERATION.
Then go back to SWEET INBRED ALIEN MATING.

You sit back for a minute and design an Automatic Shot loader for your bots. You then decide to heed the voices in your head and try to rob a bank with a stolen van, four robots made out of scrap and five zombies to stupid to control a remote control Diggerbot. But whatever, your a villian and they'll never expect this.

You drive around for a bit before finally finding a bank to rob. After covering your face with part of your old hermits rags. You then decide to take the most sensible option. You drive your van a through a wall. (7+1) the bonnet and drill make it through but the rest dosen't. Quickly you climb out the side as your zombie minions rush in to the bank.

As you walk in the bank you notice that there are nine people in the main foyer. Their fight with your zombies is going (5) rather well so your decide to help out (18) after pushing a few people over you decide the fight is going comfortably your way so you decide to take your robots further into the bank. Leaving your zombies to murder everyone in the foyer, hostages are for lesser villians. As you approach the bank vault (10) the fire alarm goes of, you're not quite sure why but you guess as long as everyone's  running out the front exit you'll get more bodies for your zombies and thats fine by you.

Guarding the actual vault is (17) one guard who's listening to a music player. As he notices you walk in you get Catapult bot to throw a grenade at him. (13+1) It works surprisingly well. (11) And the blast knocks the man out and causes severe bleeding in several places. Stepping over his body you decide to put Diggerbot to work on oppening the vault. (1+1-1) It manages to blunt its drill versus the metal. You turn around and look in the gurads pockets. (12) He surpringly does have the keys to the vault (you're not even sure if thats normal but, whatever), however as you look in you notice that it doesn't fit into any of the deposit boxes inside.

Running back to the foyer you notice your zombies have (13) continued to perform averageish and managed to kill another nine people while only losing 4 of their own. You quickly turn 9 of the corpses into more zombies before running in search of some kind of master key for the deposit boxes.

(6) After five minutes of not finding anything usefull (3) you hear an explosion from the foyer as... Well. A military special forces team appears to have forced its way into the foyer, luckily you sent the zombies to the vault to guard your robots but still, this isn't good.

Running back to the vault you find (12) someones deposit box key on the floor! Picking it up you rush inside the vault and try to open the corresponding box. When it opens you find (15)... A silenced handgun, a manual on the usage of said handgun and £400? Seriously?

Anyway, you read the manual (gaining you a +1 in handgun usage) and grab the items. Breaking in was easy. Now how to get out?

On the Lazy Newb Pack tileset, the symbol for male is a sack, or a bag.... ha.

And the symbol for female is the symbol for an amulet.... with a triangle pointing downwards, and two strings going either side.... which looks like..... well.... it.... looks like.... you know...

I can't just imagine in which situation did you think to get lions, but got a Night Creature actually? Never seen them attacking in fast travel mode (except regular Bogeymen, of cause). Just curious :)
I think I got a Night Creature as an ambush in fast travel. I think the odds are just low since you'd have to be in the right area when an ambush triggers.
It was a while ago though so I can't remember much more than that I died horribly and that it concentrated on me over some wild animal that was attacking it.

Then again I may have just had the bad luck to spawn a 1 lion ambush in the exact same place as a Night creature.

You build a Quad-Bomber and then take a brief look around the cave, , yep. Those rocks do look like normal rocks to you, you probably couldn't do anything more than chuck them around.

You then decide to go induldge in a bit of graverobbing to pass the time (19) you find a infrequently visited graveyard ten minutes walk away and start digging up corpses you manage to dig up 10 with Diggerbot before... (19) You hear a voice behind you: "Well, well, well! What have we here? Trying to impress a girl are we?"
"What are you talking about old man?" You reply.
"Well, it's not hard to work out that if a young lady digs up a couple of bodies and then later a young man digs up some that they're up to something"
"I know of no woman digging up graves."
"Course you didn't, look, could you please leave the dirt in one big pile when you leave? It makes it a lot easier to cover up if you do."
"You're helping me?"
"Why yes, we were all young once now weren't we?"
"... Right, very well then mortal, have it your way. Help me load these corpses into the back of my van then."

A couple of minutes later with all your bodies loaded up into the van he tells you that if you ever want some help with dating 'your lady friend' you can always visit him at the graveyard. You're not quite sure why he thinks graverobbing is considered romantic but since it means free bodies and other unspecified help you guess you're fine with it. For now.

Back at the cave you start making zombies. The spell uses two corpses (including a human one) to make a sembalance of life. Apparently this translates to turning one corpse to dust and leaving you with a decomposed servant. At any rate you make 5 and order one to use Diggerbot to dig a room. (6) It instead tries to bite Diggerbot. You push it over and try to get diggerbot to dig you a zombie storage room (4+1) It digs you a small tunnel about half your size. You order the zombies to sit in there anyway.
