That was fruitful...or birdful. Fowlful? Whatever, it was interesting. I should find some more food for the lady to eat, or maybe just explore the rest of the cave myself.

Try exploring the rest of the cave, if there are any other paths. If not, then head back to the surface.

"Yeah, lets... get a move on I guess. If the Comet keeps their engine off they should be safe. Though maybe luring it towards us will be fruitful."

"Regardless, we best find someplace to lay an ambush for Squad 1. If they looked up and saw the flares, that is."

"Yeah, we need to get out of the open. Squad 1 will likely head down from their starting position, so we should head behind the forest, to at least get out of sight."

"Though, are you guys in the Hellcat OK? That creature is way too close for comfort."

"Good hit. We should have someone confirm the Comet's down and get moving. The Greyhounds pretty safely down, andandI don't want anyone to risk themselves in the swamp."

"Squad 1 definitely saw that, so should we set up another ambush here, or reposition?

"Interesting, very interesting. Thank you for your time and questions."

Pick up the disabled hat drone and make to leave the cave.

"We should still wait for the Comet to be dealt with before finishing off the Greyhound. I'll leave the Comet in the Hellcats hands."

Have the tank drive a couple hundred meters closer. look out the hatch with binoculars to see if there is any crew even in the vehicle.

"Yeah, we should probably wait to ambush the Comet. We don't want it getting the drop on us."

"Since it's not that close to the ASU though, I think it's safe to close in on the greyhound a little more, maybe half a kilometer at most. It should've noticed us by now, so the cre probably bailed."

"...sorry, I was just thinking of a question. Anyway, my last question; How do land masses float in this world?"

"The smell's only  IN the ASU, so it's not going to be an issue. Not any more then the smell of gasoline tanks usually emit."

"Anyway, yeah, you can go and check it out.We should try to see if there's any signs of movement in the M8. That could change things dramatically."

"Can't worry much about it then. The Comets nowhere to be seen, so for now the Greyhound is just exposed. Should we take the opportunity?

"Should've checked earlier. now the smells going to stay for a while."

"Anyway, that 'object' does seem too slow to be a Comet. It might just be stuck or broken down though, so we should be cautious."

"...wait how'd they even get there?"

Get back in the commander's seat, standing out the top.

"The Greyhounds either stuck or doing a very dangerous bait. I'm not sure that they would just leave it there in open sight."

"Unrelated to that, The ASU-85's starting to smell way too much like gasoline. I can't put that off for much longer."

"Why not kill 2 birds with 1 stone? I'll get on top to check the engine compartment, and recon the object with binoculars while I'm at it."

If no one objects, then check the engine compartment while recon-ing the object to see if it's the M8.

"I think Squad 2 will try to deal with the 'bigger' threat of Squad one, so I doubt we'll run into them."

"Alright then, are there any objections from my crew? Well mainly the driver, since you have final authority really..."

((Yeah, Sorry about that. I realized that too late. I'll use purple from now on, looks nice on both themes.))

"Attacking while the 2 fight is probably our best bet. We're at a disadvantage in a straight-up fight, and the forest makes it impossible for us to flee if we don't knock them out in our first volley."

"We can have one of us recon the north from the nearby hill, and see if the Sheridan is scouting or not. The ASU-85's small enough to peek over the hill without being totally obvious to it. The Greyhound has to go through a swamp or forest to get on the hill, so it's probably not going to be an factor."

"If the cost is clear, we can try to set up the ambush."
