Undead target practice tantrumed a fort of mine. Buncha pussies were perfectly safe behind fortifications but apparently undead fingers were too spooky.

Also I tend to build my fortresses pretty flat (on 1-2 z-levels, stockpiles tend to be more) and pretty close to the surface.

Though, magmafalls do NOT produce magma mist.

It does if you also use it for garbage disposal.
Below the magma. I like natural lavafalls for their burning mist.
This sounds epic but how do you dig under magma? For all I know, besides candy there's only SMR.
Conquer through the candy spire, then architect through smr using method described here:

In my experience, it usually end with everything on fire. Generally there usually generate with fireball attacks, made of fire or have unusually high internal temperatures.

There is a distinct lack of dwarfiness in this thread. Here are my suggestions:

Give them [OPPOSED_TO_LIFE] and [AMBUSHPREDATOR] and reenact hitchcock. This does not remove them from the game, but hey. Good movie.


Is there a fast way of doing this or do i have to do it one by one.

Except my mark dwarfs apparently doesn't want to shoot at anything that's not aggressively hostile.

actually if you kill too much wildlife in a row, the level ceases to produce wildlife. By level I mean surface, first cavern, second cavern, third cavern.

The only wild animals I've had on my map for now for 3 years are two magma crabs, one named.

and I did increased underground animal population, and i am certain I did not hunt stuff to extinction (well maybe weasels) Maybe I should add UBIQUITOUS to all animals ?
Thats kinda sad.
