I'm on chapter 4 of lets play in space, but it doesn't say what scenario I'm supposed to be running to do the earth to moon trip. Can any one help me find the right scenario? I know there are a few other scenarios I can use to do earth to moon, but they all have slight inconsistencies with the guide (launch window, times, ect). Thats why I'm looking for the exact file.

what time zone is that?

Thanks thats much better. Using the lets play in space pdf walk through. although it makes this all simple and understandable, it makes space no more forgiving or any less difficult. About the only thing im some what competent at on day 3 of having this is correcting orbits around earth (scenario smack!)

How do I find my forward velocity in the delta glider?

Could some one point me in the direction of good (I think it's called this) sky box texture for space? I'm using one of the preloaded ones that makes it look all red and stuff. I want some thing more realistic. I have a good pc, so I can handle any thing.

Thats what im currently using.

I just downloaded this.
I spent most of the day doing the mission smack mission (not 24 hours straight but on and off) until i mastered it. I kept missing the exact time i needed to end the thrust on my engines to fix my orbit or smack into the earth.
I got to the second mission that was going to have me orbit the moon in small craft. I had to take off from a lunar base. I set up my nav computer to local transponders. Slowly took off. I felt great so I said fuck it and decided to go joyriding. I didn't realize it, but I had broken orbit with the moon. So I turn around to head back to base. I then opened my mouth in horror. The moon was moving faster than the max speed of my engines....
If this were real life I'd either have to wait until the moon orbited back around again or try and shoot for earth.
SO MUCH SPACE GOTTA SEE IT ALL!

I spent most of the day doing a single mission (not 24 hours straight but on and off) until i mastered it. I kept missing the exact time i needed to end the thrust on my engines to fix my orbit or smack into the earth.

I felt great so I said fuck it and decided to go joyriding. I didn't realize it, but I had broken orbit with the moon. Alot easier to do than on earth due to the low gravity. So I turn around to head back to base. I then opened my mouth in horror. The moon was moving faster than the max speed of my engines....

I suggest downloading the graphics packs and sounds add on. Other wise the graphics are meh and there is no sound.

googol has his own server. So it's hosted for free.

no. But no one is one right now.

yep, I'm just kidding. If you're actually a ban candidate you'll know. It's just sarcasm. Sorry if I upset you.

Also for those you who don't know/get it. Smeg is actually a fake swear word made up for the TV show Red Dwarf. They wanted it to sound "spacey" yet like it could be a real swear. The show's writers claim to not have been aware of the word smegma when they came up with it

I've never played SS13 but since everything I read about it = drama I'm almost tempted to admin a server just to see if I can do it drama-free (witness the hilarity).

Send anyone who tries to dispute your judgment a shirtless picture of yourself.

Dispute solved.

Thats how I solve 90% of my problems.

It's not up to me sadly, it's up to googol but we totally do need a few more admins (like 3) atleast a few more mappers.
Please ask him. I can give some of you recommendations for what it's worth.

Well the game already has such overpowered ways to kill people that people have invented whole systems of metagaming, accepted by the community and justified because it is so powerful, in order to handle it (since if you didn't... games wouldn't be fun)

So yeah... the AI can kill people quite effectively to my knowledge on its own.
Depends on your server. Red dwarf it's really hard to kill some one as the ai.

You'd have to ask googolplex that. He made it. I haven't played SS13 long enough to use old doughnut station. But I think it is.
