Just what I use, top floor is bar stockpile, second floor is forges, bottem is magma reservoir.  "Fairly" pressure safe, I've never lost any miners cutting the last diagonal at the tube,  nor have I had it flood.

Started playing... Unfortunately I found a DF path bug... not related to the mod.  Just had a cliff all my dwarves jumped off of, so I was unable to get much of a feel of it...  All dwarves died to "Accidents" before summer...

starting I seem to be able to hold out with one dwarf..., then move to 8 by end of year one, then 20 by end of year two.  Marksdwarves with good position own, build a vantage point over your gate with Fortifications.  Live training is best for marksdwarves, melee raises fast enough with sparring.  just have to put them to active...

I like using dwarves with high spatial sense, also wood shields make for faster dwarves and still blocks as well.  Hammers save lives, axes take limbes and spears are the FB/titan killers.

Just a thought, temperatures can be turned off, less calculations euqals less fps... so you only have the drop from flow....  just my theory...

Hmmm... some of the wird FB's still explode when hit by spears but only bruise when hit by blunt force, only hard parts, IE teeth/hooves are severed from blunt trama.  However, if you like smashing brains out... ...the warhammer is still the weapon of choice.

Hell, DT worked out of the box for me with the newest version with win 7.

Edit: on a side note working means functional, not glitchless... still can't see the dwarves last names, or they are all of the UnkownUnkown family

I think he said "INVASION".  I think that means that he has a large seige, even the best will tire to death... Adamantine armor only goes so far...
