"We don't know, but we're guessing not. Our analyst is noting an inability to tell much about the source of magic."

10247
"Alright."

<Hey, Ashley, someone wants to talk with you about your teleportingy stuff.>

"You think it was surreal for you? You didn't get a phone call at five past three saying you were going to be leading a task force for locating, identifying, and dealing with magical girls."

Sounds like a plan. Ignacio's classless level-up options are running low. We could also consider letting the bugman borrow the cloak next time he levels up.

Man, we need to get some meatshields.
Agreed. Hopefully, one of the other quest rewards will give us a good robot/space marine. We should defiantly head for Ajax's outpost next.
Indeed.

"Theoretically...she could probably transport everyone in China if they all held hands. Practically, all but a few of them would get lost in the void, if they were very very lucky."

10251
"Bugging Ashley?"

"I'm clearly not on fire and Lookitadistraction!" Point and then run before they turn back.

(I seem to be running a lot.)
(Just embrace your fame and it will all be good. Also, don't cause massive property damage.)
[5v6] You run, but they run faster. You think some people are taking pictures.

Medomai screams as she breaks free of the crowd.
Why are they doing this why can't they leave me alone why can't I just run FASTER I want to get out of here
He thoughts run into one another as she continues to panic, sprinting towards the exit and safety.
Go go run go try to get safe.
[1v4]You trip, and get caught by the mob again. They are tearing your clothes.
(Look on the bright side: If the government finds you, they'll probably declare you more of a threat to yourself than anything.)

Nap.
[6] You nap, dreaming. You see a world, islands over endless shallow red seas. In the seas are reefs, blue and green and violet, teeming with fish. Giant shrimp make cities in these reefs, spreading across the world.
An explosion in the sky. Dozens--almost four dozen?--of blue fragments and several purple ones rain down on the world, attracting the attention of half the shrimp. The fragments plunge down through the atmosphere and the water, seeking shrimp. These shrimp start to glow a multitude of colors, and start to do things no shrimp should be able to do--manipulating fire, changing shape, destruction of the reefs on a massive scale. The ones struck with blue shards, glowing in all colors of the rainbow and some not, spread their glow to others as they do so; the seven struck by purple fragments do not. Instead, they seek each other, and begin teaching other shrimp, causing them to share their distinctive purple glow.
The world goes on. The rainbow shrimp spread, their colors mingling and multiplying. The purple-glowing shrimp spread as well, sending lines line veins or nerves across the globe, which is by now glowing with all the colors.
The dream ends.

"Well I felt those tingles when a...stone, I guess, hit me? So I'm guessing nerve damage but then I felt those tingles all throughout my body. It didn't hit my spine though, just my..erm, head. I'm unsure it could do that much damage because I don't see any open wounds, sir.

"And does E-erm, could I talk to the doctor about it personally, please?"

Respond.
(This is the doctor. Sorry about being unclear.)
"That's...unusual." The doctor considers this for a moment.
(...I'll get back to you in a sec.)

"Trying. At the moment, I've negated your magic."
"Thank you. Is there any way to do that without your presence?"
"Not at the moment."

"Alright, girls, contact your parents please. Thirteen minutes. None of you run out into the street and get killed, please."

Say, is anyone here either a medical professional (ideally a doctor or something) or knows one? What kinds of tests would they do for Hiromi?

A notice for anyone designing a unit, you do need atleast 20 production to design a warfare 1 unit, and 40 to design a warfare two unit.

So for the EDL and the rebellion, you MIGHT want to start disassociating with Azthor, since he is ROYALLY screwing over your militaries with the fact that he'll soon have two production facilities.
How would he be screwing over their militaries? I'm not seeing your logic here. He'll have a bigger one sure but I'm not seeing the connection.
I think Taricus is trying to imply that Azthor will be able to, and will, crush both of us at that point. He is also trying to break up our Triple Alliance.

"No. Selina and Shit Crap are stuck on some island that didn't exist yesterday, while Ashley is who knows where and probably doesn't want to be bothered from her very important whatever."

"Everyone to the carriage, please!"

Continue focusing on the spell. If, somehow, everyone actually does get to the carriage before the end of the turn, cast it and start heading for civilization.

((It just occurred to me..how will we prove our story? I mean, what kind of demigod can slay 20 demons? At once?))

((I don't see how I can help you with those legs, honestly. I mean, this is a kinda of shitty situation, seeing as you're our life mage. Couldn't Ekoka try some life magic?))
Maybe once I finish--

STOP. HELPING. ME. PLEASE.

This goes for all of you :P
Oh alright. But if you get knocked out I'm healing you anyways. Also we're getting you a wheelchair.

And yes. I think your name - and the fact I'm currently playing Skyrim for my 430th hour (Don't judge me D:) - factored heavily into what new ability I came up with for you.
He shouldn't be complaining. (unless he overshoots his fire spells).

I'm away for ONE DAY, and the thread explodes.
*throws hands up*
Ugh.
Look on the bright side: Except for a little exposition (and I mean little), you didn't miss anything important to you.

So we now have an immortal cat-girl impersonating toddler on our team?  Well ok then.
We could send her on all the dangerous missions! :P
...
Well, first off, she takes a while to come back, second off she doesn't have a lot in the way of combat abilities, third off hell no you are not letting the little kid handle all the combat missions.

((I don't think anyone else buys that line of reasoning.))

"Let's see. Shys'm Caes can make wormholes, Selina can draw teleportation circles and has a cloak thing that lets her teleport, and Ashley's power basically is teleportation...yeah, we have a few."

((Sorry if i wasn't clear. You aren't floating, you are being physically held up in one arm by the Necromancer. Yes, that does mean he is lifting a fully grown Drow woman in armour up with one arm. No, i never said they were weak, squishy wizards. Yes, i do remember saying they had far more magic at their disposal than just necromancy.
That somehow makes them less intimidating. I can't figure out why.

Quote
Also, reread the part where they react to the Mages and clerics 'activating' themselves. The Necromancers are not worried. You should be worried that they aren't worried.
Why? There's not much we can do about it now except bluff and guess.

There is a reason they didn't slit our throat when they took our weapons. I'm betting on that reason stopping them from killing us once more.

Quote
By the way, when i built this universe, i tried to move away from the cliches established by 40 years of Forgotten Realms D&D, even though it does draw heavily from that universe. Never assume you know the way any possible enemies will react. Always prepare for the unexpected.)).
I enjoy a very specific type of schaudenfreude, where the suffering one is a character I control. Bring it on.

((Oh, THAT bit of info would've been nice earlier :P ))
Yeah.

I also never said anything about him restraining your extremities.
Default assumptions: Enemies don't overlook stuff that obvious.

((We ought to see if we can replace the longbow with a crossbow, or better yet; a repeating crossbow.
Eh. Maybe if we can get it as high-quality and enchanted as our longbow.

(Tip 1: Remember, you are a huntress. You are very agile and stealthy. Distraction, rapid kills and guerrilla warfare are the ways you kill and can be used against the brainless undead and over zealous residents of the underworld with great effect, if you get it right.
On the other hand, undead are immune to critical hits for a reason.

Sadly, I don't see much reason for us to bother. Running seems to give the best benefits long-term. And short-term. And not-dying-term.
That said, Taricus's plan works.
