"I'm still thinking a self-repairing and otherwise-upgraded ship would be ideal. It would save us a fortune, after each adventure. We could cut down on the number of unneeded quests greatly, by half at the least."

"Um..." Angel is concerned about this secret-keeping.

"The thing is, Weirdsound, I remember a number of players being let in the turn after they applied. I'm not entirely convinced the 'player slot' would do anything."

((Well, the projectiles can break apart. But they're not going to just bounce off; iron is still harder than concrete, they're going to get stuck in Steve.))

Also, it's a pretty simplistic concept. Suggestion games of amnesiacs are pretty easy, and often considered a mark of low GM investment in a game. Also, you didn't give us any good hooks to go off of.
Also, people around here are a bit anti-elf on average, and drow have a particularly bad rap ever since Drizzit.

That said...well, only one choice, really. Follow the road, hope we don't die.

((Inverse entanglement? De-tanglement?))

EDIT: I've been wanting an excuse to share this for a while, so...
It's a week until Christmas. Here, have Picard (and other crew members) singing Let It Snow. It's better than it sounds.

((No, it's not. Skateboard ads don't plug into your skull and force you to think that skateboards are cool.))

That doesn't mean that it should happen in stories. Especially when those stories are games.
That doesn't mean there's any reason to be obnoxious about it. It's a different game.
I'm not the one who brought up Udil.

Aedan tries to poke into Will's mind while he's asleep. If he succeeds like I know he wont then he plants images of how awesome having a power claw would be despite the maker being Kyle.
Let's see how that works.
But dude! A f-ing MASSIVE claw for a hand!
But dude! Attempted mindrape! And also a lack of any kind of manual dexterity!

She arrives in a room, with four guards or soldiers or something, two men in suits, a bunch of other girls--including a preschooler--and a kinda tentacley thing.

"Oh, the new one has arrived. Sorry you had to miss the first part of this. In short, we are hoping to have an expert analyze you to make sure you are not a threat. At that point, we would offer you a job if our superiors thought you were worth it. Any questions?"

Set strings on fire with lighter.
Um...aren't piano strings made of wire? Like, piano wire? Like, metal? Like, non-flammable?
Nylon? I'm not sure if they do pianos with nylon, but I know some guitars have nylon instead of steel.
Not to my knowledge. Piano strings are probably under a lot more pressure. They're definitely a lot thicker than metal guitar strings.

(I don't know what that is. Change your quote to a snip, it's a bit big and I may make corrections.)
Courier is a monospaced font. It can be useful for this sort of thing. Example:

TrueType is also effective.
I think ocr a is effective, too.
