OH! I thought the reserved colonist replaced the unreserved one.

Elena suddenly notices something blinking. Some sort of red light.

Steven Jerle is in a park, some Ukranian memorial thing, by the Humber river. Less than a hundred meters away is the West Park Health Care Center, bustling and overfull even now, days after the Terror struck the town. He's heard things about gangs and such picking up, but it doesn't concern him. He hasn't been affected. For once since he got powers, he's barely a concern to passers-by, keeping an eye out for the Bones or the Guts or one of the smaller gangs springing up.

((Don't be so hard on yourself. Anything that makes sense is immediately suspect.))

Why wouldn't you want to reserve a colonist for that situation?

The Martin's angrily finish working on the papers, yelling about it being Mrs. Martin's grandmother's idea and that they would not help this girl who was not their daughter.
A large teal hand smacks them.
"And yet, you went with it. Idiots. You don't deserve a daughter."

The mother goes on like a sailor and considers suing again.
"I dare you."

The mother punches the view port. The husband backs away slowly, because raging Mrs. Martin is very bad.
"It's made of magic. Idiot."

The view port shuts off and Mrs Martin gets a bruised knuckle for her troubles.

"You would think that showing them the footage of our headmistress torturing an interdimensional being for hurting her students would calm them down.

Clearly not."
"Again, idiot."

Selina feels a tap on her shoulder.
"No offense intended, Selina. You're not much like your parents, anyways."

I'm not sure how that changes things. I mean, couldn't you reserve a colonist and then never take it now? What circumstances would lead you to not wanting to reserve a colonist?

The new avatar that Friend Gamemaster is using is excellent. Truly, the Computer would be proud of Friend Gamemaster's choice.

Point out that the reason that the GM didn't post anything yet is not that there is nothing yet.

((I wonder if the Doctor has taught him his trademark "'Hey, look at that!' *syringe to the neck*" technique.))
"Alright I want you to smile and say 'Huh?' while I stick this syringe full of chemicals into your neck." Maurice says.

"Huh?"

"Perfect."

He jabs you in the neck with a syringe and everything goes black.
((Technique needs work, but he's learning.))

I do not throw.

All members of this thread are Troubleshooters, as detailed in the OP. Failure to read the OP is treason.
The OP contains information in colors above your clearance level. Failure to skip these portions until such time as you are cleared to read them is treason. By incorrectly asserting failure to read the entire OP is treason, you have admitted to reading the entire OP, including portions above your clearance, which is treason. Please stand by for summary execution. We hope your experience was satisfactory, and wish you a nice day.
You will notice that I never stated that failure to read the entire OP is treason. If you will turn your attention towards the non-treasonous portions of the OP:

Welcome, new Troubleshooters! Thank you for joining the fight to keep the Computer safe from Traitors! Your clearance level has now been raised to RED. If you are not familiar with the duties of a Troubleshooter, the Computer thanks you for conforming to security regulations. Only Traitors break security regulations. Your new clearance level qualifies you to read the first section part of the Paranoia XP Handbook. Reading parts of higher clearance levels is punishable by summary execution. The second section has clearance Ultraviolet. If you are discovered harboring knowledge of the second section of the book, you will be summarily executed.
Additionally, you will be provided a basic color guide of security levels for easy understanding. Remember, the color levels you do not have access to are themselves classified portions of this guide, so do not look at those portions of the guide.

Spoiler: Color Guide (click to show/hide)

After reading the first portion of the guide, complete a Troubleshooter Application Form and submit it to your Game Master. The Game Master, in his infinite wisdom, will allow players to submit their own character sheets. Remember: The Computer is your friend.  Therefore, the Game Master is your friend. The Game Master will be playing a Straight Game.

Player List:

REVISED AS PER DIRECTIVE 220.6.3.5.721.51.52..6.

This contains all the information you were inexplicably unaware of. This further indicates a lack of knowledge of the OP--treason, as noted--or else a deep ignorance of how the processes of how Alpha Complex works, which indicates Communist roots, which are treasonous.

*Hissss* "How the heck is a housecat supposed to pin a full sized elf?"
The idea was that the elf would be pretty close to dead due to being attacked by the entire party.

Quote
"Oh! Oh! Princess Bride Reference! Princess Bride Reference! Lemeee try! *ahem* THE DREAD TURKEY WISHBONE TAKES NO PRISONERS!"
Not bad, Wishbone. Much better than what I thought you said at first--"Dead Turkey Wishbone" is just cheesy.

Mini-Boss Syn Greene, The Deceitful has entered the battle!"[/glow]

"Thanks for the loot dudes! I bet between this and killing you all they'll promote me to dungeon level 2 duty and I'll make full Symbiote in a week!"
YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE LOOT, NOT A MINIBOSS!

Quote
"Hrmm... lets see. What minions do have have? Huh, it looks like the only eligible minions I have in my minion repository are the dead characters from these games... which leaves me with two choices: Amelia or Gronk. Which should I send on a perilous multiverse spanning delivery adventure?"[/glow]
Amelia. She should enjoy the menial duty.

((I do?))

Attempt to locate some more solid form within the mist. If successful, throw my spear at it.
[Possible Attack Roll: 4+6=10]
[Probably Not Damage Roll: 8+5=13]
On the off chance that there is a barn's narrow side or something in the fog, it is damaged severely.

((The spear's Returning. Don't worry.))

Forum Games and Roleplaying / Re: [ISG] Some manner of Lincoln Adventure
« on: December 04, 2013, 02:22:51 pm »
Hm. Not what I thought when I first saw the title. Time to fix that!

Name: Abraham Lincoln
Gender: Male
Favorite Color: Blue
Profession: Vampire Hunter, Politician, and former Lawyer
Primary Skill: Oration Magic
Secondary Skills: Law, Axe
+1
+1. And fixed
Always the Lincoln +1
Further fixed and +1
-1 to the "magic" bit. Honest Abe doesn't need magic, even if he's fighting vampires.

Also -1 to the lack of a space between "and" and "Politician". And other grammar mistakes caused by removing the strikethrough.
