"Pretty much, yeah. The people who gods smite are mostly blaspheming farmers, enemy soldiers, stuff like that. The people they turn into vampires or therianthropes? Their own priests, the occasional warded adventurer, stuff like that. And, of course, monsters make it into legends much more easily than corpses."

((On that note, I talked with the GM and there should be some kind of cure fairly nearby. So I'd appreciate it if you didn't kill Carl.
I think he's willing to let waitlisters in to swell the party without anyone dying, but I'm not so sure about that part.))

Again: Why does "carbon-based life" immediately transfer to "exactly like Earth life"? There is (would be, whatever) no reason for our carbon-based life to exactly resemble the carbon-based life of Earth. There is no reason the argon-based life you propose would not resemble the carbon-based life of Earth, if you're throwing out the laws of physics just so you can have carbon-based life. In the end, it's just different for the sake of being different. Is having a little note in the spoiler of "All life on X is argon-based" really that interesting?

"Into the cave he goes then!

I reach past the fourth wall, pick up the cheating elf, and throw him into the cave! As soon as he passes through the entrance however, the sealing symbol breaks and the cave stabilizes, and the elf with archery proficiancy lands in a small cave full of archery themed loot. Punishment complete!

...Wait, what?"

You know that's not what I meant! The elf was supposed to become loot, not steal loot!

That was literally the worst idea we have ever had.
Is not! It just ended badly.
And I didn't see you coming up with any punishments...

Everyone: Advance towards the cave.

Ignacio: Fastball Special
Wishbone: Fastball Special
Ithan: Shoot the Elf
Oscar: Pin the hopefully-surviving elf.

Any objections to, say, Oscar's plans?

That's because no one ever points them out. If you think my ideas are so horrible, say why. Just like any other suggestion game.

"Kinda, I guess. What do you want to name him?"

I'm sorry for asking you guys to put a little thought into your suggestions.

If in any other suggestion game--let's pick TWoOtA for a pretty well-known example--aren't you expected to be able to explain your choices? If I suggested that Ciro strip naked and dance, how do you think the other players would react? (Past "Who hacked GWG's account?"/"What happened to GWG?"/"You might want to change your slogan, GWG"/etc, of course.) They would ask me why I would want to do such a thing. Less absurdly, when I suggested we jump down the shaft, I had to explain that choice. The other people, who wanted to fight the dragon or look for other exits, had to explain their choices. In any suggestion game with lots of people, debates pop up, and people are expected to be able to explain why they chose what they chose. Why is this suggestion game any different?

((Which loot are you talking about?))

12252
"Sorry."
Will tickles Meme, trying to wake her up.

Alright. What makes being able to say "This life is argon-based!" interesting? Is it in any practical way different from non-argon-based life, or is it just different to be different?

12254
((Not really.

"Um, Carl, are you okay?"

Easy.))

Joan proceeds to answer in personally I suspect it's better to have implied french then Google translated french.
((Fair.))

Now with more curtsies!
"And it is my pleasure to meet you."
