If it's endothermic, low temperatures will retard the reaction. If it's exothermic, high temperatures will do the same.
Not sure how much of an effect this would have. My chemistry courses didn't go into detail about that sort of specific detail.

I'll grant that "Dropped A Bridget On Him" was on the first page, but every other reference on the first few pages is in reference to trappy kinds of traps. You hit xkcd and Cracked before anything else. And I have no clue why Dropped A Bridget On Him was on the first page, since A. "trap" isn't anywhere on the page and B. it's not even a real trope anymore.
