The way Cado described it, it sounded like her addiction to each Angel was the same thing. And it's not like she can't tell the difference between the two--again, TAngel has a tail, fangs, and so forth.

What you are describing is basically the nocebo* effect. However, this requires knowledge of what the vampire venom would do, which Selina did not gain until after she started displaying symptoms--towards MG!Angel!

*Basically, placebo, but for things that hurt people.

And what makes you think this psychological conditioning is a separate thing from whatever causes the addiction? Did the addiction coincidentally happen at the same time as the psychological conditioning? I don't get what you're saying.

How? I dunno. But from Cado's phrasings of these PMs, I don't see anything suggesting that her addiction to TAngel is somehow separate from that to her own Angel.

And, again, if that was enough to make the addiction not recognize the vampire, why doesn't that work in the TAverse? It's not like Selina's addiction was a lot weaker on MA!Angel.
