In.

Start: Pistol Holster, Six-Shooter, 8 Points.

Buy: Gunslinger Pistol Holster, Six-Shooter.

I want to buy custom looks, I want to look like some Templar/Knight guy.
You can't. You lack points.
Pretty soon.... New action! Steal points from the point-shop!
Impede action, violently.

Hide using illusions. Create an illusion that there is still plenty of light on him and that Angel is taking several steps to the right while aiming at him, while actually preventing any light from falling on him and taking several steps backwards and to the left.

Also curse the dice who seem to hate Angel.

going back around the Pony Predator towards Jim, walk over to the far side of Jim from the PP, and keep him between me and it at all times.
"Bye, Lyra..."
(Um...)

"Why are we so worried about the name? ...Why are we naming it, anyways?"

Cuuuuuttlefiiiiish
Cephalopods in general, really. Let's not be notochocentric.

Maybe hammer/nails and screws/screwdriver, if you feel like building things and/or performing torture the old-fashioned way? Shovels, picks, or climbing gear might be handy as well.
Or bricks. Or panes. Or a wide variety of things. BUILDING IS AWESOME.

Lars looks at Grate.  "Blessed be the miracles of the gods!  Surely Steve's divine will hath breathed life back into your flesh."
"Um...maybe? I don't think so. Steve, did you breathe life back into my flesh or something like that?"

The trend is quite popular. 46 people have voted in the poll!
What poll?

Also, dammit Krath, I almost had first place!

Start: Pistol Holster, Six-Shooter, 8 Points.

Buy: Gunslinger, Six-Shooter.

GWG, did you piss off Lady Luck?
Always a nice way to start off the turn.
And I suspect such, yes. Especially since my attempt to make a floating sentient lamp of rock made an invisible grenade, plus every other rock in a wide radius began floating, and I lost my hand.

Did having a couple of magics inverting help me learn more about inverting magic or something? I hope?

Try to heal and restore my hand with Life magic. Ask for help from the "Healer".

Make sure at least one as many universes as possible survives.
Aid action.

Lars looks at Grate with a smile.  "There you go, son, that's a good idea..."
"...I was joking."

"Ahem. So, with HMRC nominally staying here, since I did overhear a bit of Steve intending leave some administration behind, whatever it is that goes out to fight the UWM must have a different name. If we're just naming the fighting force, OGRE works - we're strong, we're feared, we're not known for being subtle or employing smart tactics (and let it stay that way), but despite that we're a pretty complex thing. You could even say layered. Like an onion."
"Or a cake. Cakes have layers."

Quote
"It works as an acronym. We could work from there. A "Republic of Man", or "Mankind", but I can't think of what to use for the "A". Thoughts?"
"Awesome? Armed? Angry? Annoyed? Awesome? Did I say that already?"

Hop down out of Jim's arms, go around the Pony Predator lying on the floor, and poke Grate with my right forepaw.
((The what?))
"Hi, Lyra!"

Quote from: Several People
"Aren't you dead?"
"How are you still alive?"
"[I was?/I don't know.] I guess I came back to life like Miss Feyri did. Except I'm not a robot...What happened, anyway? I remember getting hit with a rock, and then some weird stuff, but...I'm not sure what happened."
Try to remember what I saw and whatnot before waking up.

((Oh, look, GMninja'd.))

-snip-
Grate nods.
"I don't care that much about the name. What will we be doing next?"

Oh.

Continue towards the auction house, lamenting my inability to submit bids online.

Contemplate inventing the Internet, wi-fi, and eBay just so I can bid on stuff in the middle of battle.

Need I mention the two turns where you tried to shoot mastah and he didn't react til the auto defend on the second turn? You are due no compensation.

It appears auto defend starts on the second turn you miss (the alternative is he messed up on both your respective first turns of inaction or didn't think to use auto defend til turn two of Mastah's inaction at which point for fairness he would need to forget it for your first turn as well), it does not justify compensation for you alone. Don't mean to be rude, but think you are being unreasonable, and milking the gm's willingness to cave in to silly requests. Plus its like 5 in the morning, I just got up about 20 minutes ago and have nothing better to do.
Fair enough. (I hadn't noticed the turns mastah missed, though.)
And, um, why doesn't autodefend start on the first turn you miss?

We gave ourself that pyrokinetic rune, right?

Not saying we should use it, but it's an option.

I never said we shouldn't hide our presence! Stop twisting my words and ignoring my explanations. I said that we should create a world which works without divine intervention, and that could be created without divine intervention, much like a painter paints a scene that looks like it would without artistic intervention (ie, a realistic one). We can then do miracles in it.

And I suspect that the fact that all monotheistic religions have a male god can be traced to the low number of independently-formed monotheistic religions (Judaism, Christianity, and Islam have common roots), and perhaps to the misogynistic tendencies of many ancient societies..

It's not that simple, especially for some of those stages. Ironically, the easiest to take off are the ones at the end; repeatedly, organisms have evolved to be able to breed in their larvel or juvenile stages rather than their adult stages, effectively maturing when still larvae. See: Mud puppies, axlotls, rooks, some crustaceans, water striders, and other species. On the other hand, cutting out an intermediate stage is about as possible as making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich without opening the peanut butter jar.
Maybe thats impossible for you pansy arse little whiners - but we real men eat the jar as well! :P
...How do I argue with logic like that?

It isn't a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, then. It's a jar and jelly sandwich. Completely different, and a bit unwieldy to eat.

It's called neoteny, and humans did this, for brain plasticity: they managed to keep the baby chimps' ability to learn more easily than the old ones, to the points that even 60 years old can learn how to use a computer (not as easily as a 20-years old, but still surprisingly easy)
Also our head structure.
I hadn't heard the learning thing before, though. You really do learn new things every day!
