Maybe let people spend movement on dodging? Say, if a Scout doesn't move as far, it can dodge, giving people a penalty to hit them?

The boy looked for more Pokemon, maybe a Water-type. a pool of slightly glowing water, which he collected in a bottle, and a big root, but no Pokemon. Probably.
He tapped the root. "Are you a Pokemon?"
No response. He tapped the bottle. "Are you a Pokemon?"
No response.
"...WHERE ARE ALL THE POKEMON?!?" He stormed up and down the coastline, looking for something, when he encountered a Corsola. It fell slowly to Nutty'a attacks. He wasn't thrilled about the color, but it was a Pokemon--and a tough one!
He challenged the haughty girl to a battle...
((Oh dammit forgot to get the transcript. Means no nice battle fluff, either, unless Akroma got the transcript.))

Well, given what little we know...+1 she is also prone to getting absorbed in her enchanting experiments as she doesn't care much for the other aspects of Runes. She is currently working a on upgrading her -Laser Pocket Knife- into a -Laser Pocket Sword-
I will suggest an introverted personality, more interested in reading books than talking. Violet is shy, but nice if you can get her to talk to you. Um...that's all that springs to mind.
