"I'm not prone to lying!" Alex lies.

13187
Again: Everyone has fangirls. It's a corollary of Rule 34 or something like that.

13188
"Calm down, Selina. Keep an eye out, but calm down. This isn't one of the games where you get attacked by wild animals every thirty seconds."

After setting up the drones, Carl turns towards Selina.

"Sorry if it seems like I'm prying, but...why did you come here? You said this was your first time leaving your home planet?"

13189
((I was doing other things. Like typing this, and chatting in the TA OOC.))

"We just got attacked by a giant robot at the pool! It was horrible! Nuriel got really hurt!"
"Angel" climbs into Selina's lap. She might notice that Angel is a bit denser than normal, if she rolls well enough.

What are you doing?
I'll let you know when I figure it out.

Still gotta fix the gaping hole of Nuriel. But eh.
((Nuriel's hole is patched up, and has been since like a minute after she got shot.))

((Good lord the ninja.))

Of course he could get a bunch of fan girls still.
Darnos?

PFFFHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA
He's a terrible person.
Dude. Voldemort has fangirls. If he invaded France today, Hitler would have fangirls. The power of teenaged affection knows no bounds, especially not sanity. Especially not when a "bad boy" or someone "playing hard-to-get" is involved. Heck, Darnos is practically a sociopathic non-brain-damaged Edward in need of a Bella.

13191
Alex is clinging to Selina.

13192
"Alright. I'll get the drones on it if there aren't any objections?"

Unless the group moves on, have the drones start repairing the armor or however that works.

Oh.

Monsters follow laws?

That perspective only applies if you're allied to Oric, and reinforces my position. If you're opposed to Oric, or in a position where you're likely to be opposed to him, you'd know more about your more immediate foes than Oric's love interest and her brethren who explicitly run the mechanics behind the scenes.
Don't be absurd. If the hypothetical Sean-Connery-badass-rules-ignoring-CIA-agent-cum-President ran as a Republican, even the Democrat women would be all over him. It just enhances the "bad boy" factor.
The first response I came up with could get into political arguments, so I won't actually post it.  BUT KNOW THAT I THOUGHT IT.
Considering that I was basically talking about a bad-boy-er James Bond existing and becoming President of the United States, you might have been taking this too seriously...
Out of curiosity, would it have been better if I reversed the political parties?

Also, Goom-bess knew about the Angels.  Not just one of them.
Oh, you're focusing on that? I thought you were still talking about how fangirly Goom-Bess was acting towards Oric.
Well, I dunno. Presumably, Goom-Bess did a bit of investigating. Or maybe she was sent to us by the Angels to aid us on our journey.

If she has incomplete information but feels perfectly comfortable telling us about it, why didn't she give us some random and useless info about Proxxy?
Because she wasn't confident about any of it, because Proxxy is behind-the-scenes at best.
No clue if this actually answers the question you were aiming at.

It's because of what Cain told us in This Update. Who knows how trustworthy Cain is (we can probably trust him as far as we can throw him, and remember he's chained in place,) but if anyone wants the cycles broken it's him.
Even if this water indeed have some unusual properties (and I take anything that Cain says with ton of salt), they do not seem be helpful in context of Stone Dragon. Cain said:

It's too pure. Nothing can get through it. Your soul, your connection to your friends, not even your connection to... y'know.
And look what people made of it - up to and including dissolution of molecular bonds in body...
Yeah, they took it too far.

Now deal killer: assume water really have some blocking properties. Assume it works on spirits (doubtful). Assume spirit is hostile due to external influence (only then severing connection would help). Wouldn't it need completely submerged Stone Dragon for some amount of time before connection is severed?
Possibly. It could be that we lost the connection within seconds of dipping our feet in. We didn't exactly Science a lot.
The general logic is good, though. It's a terrible idea.

Anyway, I remember this very weak guy in Duel with Yaos. Seems like communication between Siblings, Oric and rest of Warrens is pretty important plot point. Hell, they have good idea of where we are and what we are doing. Partially because we use scanner (this guy in Cathedral warned about it). Blocking/hijacking this communication could be very useful. I would hold to this water for now.
...
I approve. I wonder if we could put it in the Skill Tree...

((Wouldn't it make more sense for the men to be raped than the women? With a 100-to-one ratio, give or take given local conditions, you'd expect that any men wanting some carnal relations without emotional attachment or anything could just find a nymphomaniac or a single mother-wannabe pretty easily. Unless you mean raped by the monsters?))

We are Female, like almost everyone else.

"Maybe just me, but we should probably get the armor repaired before we go tromping off through the dangerous jungle. I'd rather wait this morning and set off with repaired armor than start making noise half a day earlier in armor with such...holes in it."

Carl helps Selina up.

13197
"That isn't Angel."
"You're no fun."

A clone that Angel created to reassure one of you. Can one of you get her to stop creating them? They're very annoying.
Alex kicks Darnos.

Holding her in place is not hurting her.
"You were strangling me earlier."

13198
((...where was it posted anyone was talking to her? Because, I didn't see any mention of it in the update...))
((Different Selina.))

Nuriel takes her chance to slip away, leaping over a fence and running to Maria's house, locating Selina. She tries to mimic Angel's voice.
"Selina! Selina!"
((In case you missed it, Cado, Nuriel got shot with artillery and had to reshape herself into someone much smaller. Angel noted that she was about her size, so Nuriel decided to mimic her. Now she is going to do...something. Her plans are slightly better-formed than that time she tried to ransom off Angel.))

13199
"Um, nothing much. How are you feeling? I know you got a nasty bug bite last night, and the big buggers weren't exactly friendly."
