((The idea I had was someone interested in joining the revolution.))
(( It would have to be someone on Heaphestus, I would imagine. The sword won't have *been* anywhere else to pick people up when you join (assuming this quantum Grate thing goes south), but I quite like the idea of someone that *wasn't* imprisoned to get here :P ))
((Well, duh.))

((Just experimenting with drawing on my new tablet PC. Relearning quite a few things.))
((Why are they not wearing clothing?))

Roll To Dodge / Re: Roll to Defend Maryth (Orc Raid Round 1)

By the way, does anyone have any qualms against me taking everyone's turns in the order they're posted?
Nothing serious, I suppose. And it's a lot easier on the GM.

Bottle some 'pure' Water, splash it onto the Laz0r Dragon, watch as it slowly starts to have it's particles unbonded.
Um.
If that would have worked, we would have died when we were immersed in the water.
We're not a spirit. The water severs spirit connections, so it'll probably have a bigger effect on the dragon than it had on us.
He was suggesting using the water to remove the molecular bonds of the Lazor Dragon, not anything like that. Proof bolded in above quote.

The point is to figure out if it is.
I think during Drop we will not have time to leisurely bloodshape just because. There will be minigame involving "grazing" for "points", remember? Whatever that means.

* My private theory about it says it involves fact that Sibling (Proxxy) was in rest of party, thus assuming direct control over it during time of Ciro's absence.
The idea was to try bloodshaping before the drop to see if the top counts as part of the level or not. It's off the map, after all.

I'm sick of being strawmanned. Please try to avoid it in the future.

Is it (not) just me, or does no one remember that we are on a magic-impeded level, which means that we can't bloodshape stuff?!?
So sue me, I can't remember if we tried and failed before. Admittedly, Bloodshaping does have a roll to be affected, unlike healing and levitation spells.
We have.

Going by that, we'll be lucky if we can make wings - depends on if they count as an equippable item or not, I suspect.
If all else fails, we can try making a suit of winged armor. Or maybe powered armor. Who wants to be Hemoglobin Woman?

What happens if Wagon is the most-picked, something is second-most, and Betrayal is the least-picked?

Richard runs past.
"Fallen angel puns abound!"
He gets away before anyone can retort.
((Runs past whom?))

((Except we have no idea if it is canonical and whether the nature of the critical failure influenced it. At the end of the day, assuming that Darnos has yet another individual who has potential to influence him via venom has far greater repercussions than assuming that he does not, hence I am in favor of the latter due to the lack of evidence.))
((It happened in canon, hence it is canonical.
It was stated by the GM that the roll has to do with the victim resisting the venom, not the venom...I don't know how the critical failure could lead to a severe alteration in how the venom functions, actually. Well, I'll ask rag, see what he says.))

Roll To Dodge / Re: Naga versus Toronto: Hey, An Update!

Fuck Varney. Reinforcements delayed.
((Mainly because I don't really know what to put in the various teams and don't have the time to assemble them.))

Phalanx: [6v6] An exciting tussle among the toughest capes on-site and the largest Terror. Capes are killed, but Naga is halted and even hurt, a bit.
[4v4][3] Another falls to the explosion.

Archers, fire. [6v1] ...Well, then. The big guns--Electric, Imber, Mover and Thrower, Wunderwaffe, etc--manage to deal severe damage to Naga. It won't give up, though.
[2v6] Sadly, a swipe of water takes a number of them down. [1] Still more fall to the devastation caused by Team Bastion.

The Bastion capes begin to work on minimizing the damage Naga does. [1v4] Nicely done, guys. Nicely done. Mensura's power interacts badly with one of Prefab's devices' space-warping storage things, and everything falls apart.
[1-1v3] The resulting explosion kills many of the Bastion capes.

The Zergs send their minions--Concussive and a couple new fake capes, duplicates of Replican, a couple good-sized snakes surrounded by electricity, several little goblin-like creatures, and a half-dozen two-foot-tall winged bugmen with weird lizardlike tails created by Summoner--towards Naga, hoping to hinder or at least distract the massive beast.
[1-1v6] Not one survives.
[6+1v5][4+2] The team itself is untouched by either Naga or the devastation, due to their location.

Spoiler: Capes (click to show/hide)
Announcements:
"Bullet deceased, G8."
"Ekrixi deceased, G8. Mechanus deceased, G6. String-Em-Up down, G8. Thalsian down, G8. Transcontinental down, G8. Wunderwaffe down, G8."
"Error. Damage to systems."
(Read: I forgot to record which of the major injuries were caused by the explosion and which weren't.)
"Bloody Maria down, G8."

Frankly, I'm sick of this. Tomorrow, I'm writing up a brief summary of what happens next if people don't object too much.

Well, it would make it easier for people interested to keep playing.
Also, the games tend to end pretty quickly, and it makes more sense to have one 10-page thread than five 2-page ones.
Finally, if somebody wanted to read through past games to pick up strategy, it'd be easier for them.

Personally, I recommend keeping the thread, and linking to the start of each game in the OP.
Agreed.

No, seriously, if we wait long enough, the dragon room might get flushed and go away, and whatever room takes its place will be safe to go through.
That's why we flush him manually, with liberal application of water
...That's a pretty sane idea. Makes sense.
Where do we get the water?

Oh. Neat.

Erm... I mean the The Tome of Planar Summons... by Ant Dan Brown!
Dant Brown?

I think you should start by summoning a cherub three paces to your left.
Also, consider starting with the line below your picture for your dialogue. It looks really bad on certain screen widths.

Ah, yes. Neyravah has no Acts, no worshipers, and a lot of anger at...the plague guy.
