1. Bulldog-like is also quite specific. I can think of many kinds of ponderous heads with short (or no!) snouts that are not bulldog-like, and many bulldog-like heads that are not ponderous.
2. My drawing skills suck, so I can't really help there.
3. We are not "a natural creature". At most, we are Nature, or an aspect of it. Nature has many forms; why is a two-eyed form more "natural" than a three-eyed one? Since most natural organisms have no eyes, "logically" we shouldn't have any eyes at all. Of course, by that logic we should be a rock, bacterium, or plant, so it's obvious we aren't going by the "standard" natural template.
More likely, we are a sort of nature-associated being, something like the titans of Greek mythology or the titans of Dwarf Fortress or something. Those are all pretty "unnatural" by your standards.
