"Sycamore, Kent, you okay? Don't move, I need to check you guys."

Diagnose the injuries of the two who hurt themselves.

"Be careful, Bethany."

Einsteinian Roulette / Re: Einsteinian Roulette mission 11: MAYDAY

((Oh and some advice, I suggest you might want to stay away form the black ship, you already know this but we have a ship having a seizure (don't know how that happened.) and there's a turret filled with something even more dangrous.))
((Fixed that for you. As far as I'm aware, the ammunition in there now is just ClF3, no napalm. The only napalm stuff was the napalm/thermite mix (namite) that's used in the 'flamethrower' that I think Miyamoto has.))
((And that's so comforting.))

((As long as you crash it in a controllable manner injuries should be minimized and the magazine won't go off.))
((Yeah, good luck with that.))

Forum Games and Roleplaying / Re: Birth of Oblivion- 3.5e D&D PbP

The admantine sword was just for coolness :P
...I vote tryrar gets to do the rowing :P
I don't remember whose team you guys are on, but I support this measure.

Hey, I thought we were using 3d6 straight down!

14090
I actually was thinking of doing a whole other D&D thing but am concerned we're overloading the forum with them these days lol.
It goes in cycles. One guy does a good X, or an X when their absence is noted; other GMs follow suit; people get tired of X, usually in part due to the low quality of new X; someone does a good/absent Y; the cycle repeats.

Doesn't matter if it's D&D, ISGs, god games, whatever.

Angerus looks in on the hallways.
"HOLY FUCK DID ONE OF YOU ASSHOLES GET BLOOD-ANGLED AGAIN! YOU SHOULD PROBABLY STOP THAT!"
Selina flinches and hides her face in... shame? and fear.
Angel gives Selina a hug.

Quote
Blue is looking at her own chest idly.
((...Interesting.))

"Er... i-i-its just... um... e-e-embarrassing..." TA!Selina blushes a bit. (2000)

((gotta sleep. If Victoria wants to see, its several chibi!selina pictures, and a folder of ecchi pictures. Everything in there Selina has drawn before. Night!))

Selina falls unconscious after some babbling. She actually may need a change of pants...

((because only half of Selina's mind is here, the only positive emotions she can have currently are calm, relief, and childish joy.))
"HOLY FUCK! MOTHERFUCKER DOWN!"
Angerus scoops up Selina and rushes to the infirmary.
Angel runs after him.

<Who exactly? Considering what you've been fighting, it's probably still far less ambiguous in morality than what some of the people here have done. Namely killing soldiers from an alien species who for all we could know may have been conscripts.>
<Some other student. I'd gotten bored and killed them, she saw, got really scared of me for no good reason.>
<I can think of several good reasons.>

Side reading?
"Reading not assigned for class. Specifically, are you familiar with Stranger protocols?"
(Between all the Worm references already made and the fact that I largely based Will off of Tattletale...))

<Mmm. I would like to know why any assassins would choose such an obtrusive method as a slowly advancing gigantic laser, however.>
<Dramatic flair. You're practically a supervillain, you should be at least vaguely familiar with the concept. Pretty much every villain is, except those psychopaths who take what they want, kill whoever is too weak to stand in their way, and get attacked by heroes and villains alike until they get imprisoned or killed and thus return to the status quo.>
<...Actually, I can see you being the latter kind, never mind.>

<Come to think of it, he hasn't been very active recently probably lack of any significant events occurring. Anyway, I personally dislike Jason more, he seems more like a peripheral character, pulled by the marionette strings of plot yet placed too far into the foreground where that lack of agency becomes a significant issue. You know, @Projeck will be quite bemused when he checks this thread and finds three characters critiquing his characters.>
<It's kinda sad that we couldn't save Jason.>
<You mispronounced "stupid".>

>Rather paranoid about [Sues]. I've met one. Not pretty.<
<Aren't Sues generally pretty by definition? Ah, the jokes I make.>

<Also, I don't see why calling them objects is of any significance, we are all mere concepts after all.>
<Normally I'd criticize you for breaking the fourth wall, but...well, it's an interesting philosophical question. How do you know that the world isn't just shadows on Plato's cave?>

<Because @Empiricist is the sort of person who is more prone to finding such descriptions to be rather creepy. Whilst they have varying levels of justification, the fashion choices some of the female cast make are also quite questionable. Which is to say too fanservicey for @Empiricist. Personally, I don't mind, it just leaves more places for me to shoot at if required.>
<High five.>

Angel's mother is still glaring at Marie while talking on the phone. Marie hears a snippet
"...course I'm telling the...waste emergency services' time if I wasn't?"

Actually, that would be me GWG. You go engineer, you tend to do better in that role. Swap the medic skill out for droid operation, and get a droid and we're off to a decent start, if we don't mind waiting around 80 days for a base :P
((Something just occurred to me.
What do you mean, I usually do better in that role? Are you questioning my skills as a healer?))

Personal Appearance: Racy latina with red curly hair and an athletic looking body.
Obviously not pure latina.

Would a player like to roll their demise?

I need 2 d100's, and I somewhat want to see what you guys roll.  High numbers are good for ME, bad for you.  It's no problem if you don't roll, as the numbers are only "conceptual" rather than actual data right now.  Haven't decided what I want them to do yet.

"Urban legend for colony pods. Sometimes happens to military drop pods, if they're carrying enough ordinance. Anyways, talking with the others wouldn't hurt."
Me: Activate drone, then take point in locating the other pods.
Drone: Carry any supplies and such from the drop pod not carried by one of us.

14094
((I know. I would have bought one, but then I would have had to drop the drone. And we need drones.))

14095
((I am slightly disturbed by how easily this, or surprisingly much of other text from Bay12, could be placed into a conversation amongst serial killers and not be out-of-context.))
Phfff, I'm sure there's a serial killer forums somewhere, and I don't think it would sound like this.

At least I hope it doesn't.
((No, but it wouldn't sound odd there.))

Roll To Dodge / Re: Obsessions - Irons St Theatre

((You could say that...
Technically, May is a character. The character TCM played in Einsteinian Roulette.
And I ned to get to sleep so I'll let someone else explain more.))

14097
Alright, changed my character to be a soldier/engineer. I might need to bum batteries off of people, though.

14098
((...true... But, we have our medic, me, and our main fighter, Gold. We could do with an engineer now. Also, Gold, we can't start with vehicles. says so in the tab for them))
Noted!
...Maybe, if I'm going to be the "main fighter," I should get a rifle with the 900 credits that frees up.

14099
Sounds...intriguing.

I might be able to DM.
