More continue mobbing them, and there's only so much one can do when surrounded by a mob of (not-)people grabbing for you.

Darnos unties the ropes before growing wings which he glides to the ground with.

She summons [9+6] 15 blobby creatures with arms and faces, who grab onto Darnos and each other, dragging him down.

I have fought illithids, aboleths, cultists of Far Realm Elders, and since death I have slain hundreds of tanar'ri, including a marilith and a babau elite assassin. I can take whatever you summon."
The flames are rewritten as a colossal eldritch sigil of non-euclidean and impossible design. It begins glowing softly with the power of Selina's magic.
"You can either let us go... or... I'll take out something that shouldn't actually exist and see how many people die."
Victoria blasts away at the stone with her PDW's explosive rounds.
Another stony hand grabs Victoria, and a wall of black-tinged fire blocks the portal.
Catherine backs up to the portal, and then lashes out with her water flasks.((Huh. You ninja'd, yet...so perfect.))

She then forms a large Icewall, around the area with the portal.
"Through the portal! We're getting out of here, now!"
A fire in her eyes, and water in her grasp, she makes her way back to the portal. From there, she just whips at whatever creatures come close to her, or the portal.
The wall of fire destroys those plans.
