The life lock doesn't effect the batons. It's not really worth while to install the system on something that is, in essence, just a metal rod.
((Well, yes, but those systems stop Grate from taking any more effective weaponry.))

These controls are a con roll. Perhaps you're not the best person to be using them, considering anyone in the entire HMRC outfit can now.
((What, remote-controlled weapons aren't Auxiliary?
And if no one else is running them...Grate's got to be better than no one, right?))

((RIGHT?!?))

"Okay, I've got 1/4 kiloton bomb between my legs and I need someone with a tender touch and a lot of experience to help me take care of it. If you could also bring someone who could help with the potential nuclear bomb along, that would be appreciated, hehehe."
Be confused by the innuendo.

Attempt to follow Ms. Feyri and find the Shadow Walker. Scream loudly about it if I see one, or an Urban Executor, or the amp user. Smack it with my baton if it is close and smacking it would not involve doing anything idiotic, such as approaching a crazed sod, running off a ledge, or getting in the amp user's LOS.

this, i want to be minimalist, no becoming gods. i wnat to keep it somewhat realistic.
You clearly are unfamiliar with the true meaning of "minimalist".

Also, spelling and grammar are nice.

Name: Angel Beatrice Carlson
Profession: First Grader
Age: 5
Appearance: Angel looks like a fairly short (~3'1") kindergartner. She has straight auburn hair to her shoulders, pale skin, and blue eyes. She wears glasses and green clothes of various sorts.
History: Angel is a child prodigy and not at all based on every other character named Angel I have played.

Skills:
+1 to academics
+1 to cuteness (ie not being attacked by normal people)

Roll To Dodge / Re: Naga versus Toronto: Name Pending

Alright. I'm definitely not getting a turn out tonight, I have too much homework. Specifically, I need to make a PowerPoint presentation and (if I can find one...) note card for a speech that I am doing tomorrow. Also I need to print a lot of stuff. Also, I've been thinking.

The last update took a lot of time, even without anything except Naga and the trigger events. How much longer will real updates take? How long will this take? How much will I hate the game by then? Would it be better to just try to get this over with ASAP?

There are a few measures I can think of to deal with this.
0. Nothing!
1a. Refuse to let more players in than already are.
1b. Refuse to let any players not in Toronto play.
2a. Increase the length of turns to ~10 minutes rather than about one. This would mainly make the game go faster, but would do nothing to make it easier on me.
2b. As above, but ~5 minutes per turn.
2c. As above, but ~15 minutes per turn.
3. Abstract most individual actions away, and just take whole groups ("X group of blasters," "Y group of brutes," etc.) and a few individuals doing something notable.
4. Finish the game, with a nice wrap-up thing and a few rolls to see who dies in the attack.

There is a poll! Also, qwerty.

((Had I known that smashing the lights would do this... Hell, I'd have done it anyways. This is fun.))

Run towards the sound of screaming and whack the source of it with the glass shard going through my hand.
You're the one who is screaming  :P
((Obviously, Wwolin wants to run around in a circle, periodically stabbing himself.))
((Beat me to it.))

This is a note for wer6.

Yes, go ahead and run MMIII. Do you know where to find a copy of the Metamorphicon?

As for making links, here is how:

here is how:

Oh, and I can't send you PMs. It says that you have me blocked or something like that. Any idea why?

Note to self: Don't scuttle the ship. Just release Malarea instead.

a big -1 to the above. we are supposed to be a chaotic good god. not a chaotic-evil god.
Fixed the title :P.

I suggest an alternative that might save them and the response is that saving them would be evil? Because they would rather die than have their appearance altered? So we're supporting their stupidly shallow viewpoints even though it means almost certain death for them?

Think of these people as little kids... Stupid little kids with apparent death wishes. No, we should not validate their behavior. We've done that enough already and we've lost all that's been worked for so far. From now on, I say we engage in a little bit of tough love because sometimes tough love is the best love.
...
So, because people don't want to be turned into monsters, they deserve to die?
And letting them die counts as "tough love"?

If we lose all of our followers, we'll need to find a new base. Taking a town over willingly is preferential but if that doesn't work, we can use our umbral stalkers to take over forcefully. If no good town can be found to take over, maybe set up a base in the woods and build a sacrificial altar. Raid nearby settlements and sacrifice them for mana until we can work out something new.
Why does no one ever let Bay12 make someone nice?

As for immovable rod vs. ship, think about what would happen when that ship struck an unmoving pillar of rock in the ocean. Do ships in that situation tend to get hull breaches and sink?
The rock makes a bigger hole, and can stay steady against more than a few tons of force.

While I can't find anyone willing to give a damn straight answer as to how time spent accelerating affects the Newton equation...
F=ma. a=Δv/Δt. Twice as much time means half as much acceleration means half as much force. Clear?

a potential trade between GreatWyrmGold and evilcherry for this turn.
I have been convinced not to trade with him.
