"I'm not! How am I...oh, right. Sorry, I didn't mean to! I just don't want people to be mean...Selina, you tell Darnos to be nice!"

((That's one hell of a Manton-bypassing power.
Any particular range?))
((It doesn't bypass the Manton effect any more than Skitter, Regent, or Panacea does. Bypassing the Manton effect would be like if he was a talakinetic who could throw people around like ragdolls.))

"I suppose it shouldn't be surprising that little new data has come up. Onto the next, Skull's second-in-command..."

The screen now shows a picture of a taller man, more solidly built as far as can be told behind his white-painted powered armor. Said powered armor has a number of pistons along the chest and limbs, making it look a little like a skeleton.

"...Spine. Spine is the Bones' tinker, with more of a focus on the mechanical than the electronic. He uses a suit of powered armor which focuses more on the power than the armor, letting him strike harder than any of the local heroes but also leaving him vulnerable to a few strong blows. He also constructs simple weapons, notably the Anygun, a large gun which propels just about anything around the size of a softball or a bit smaller to near-sonic speeds. It seems to work using some kind of spring, but we are uncertain. Finally, Spine constructs Vertebrae, smallish, modular robots that can connect with one another to form larger, more powerful or versatile robots. These are fairly flexible but quite fragile, especially when combined. Firepower depends on attachments, which include everything from versions of the Anygun to syringe guns to blades to tools...to the occasional device made by a tinker other than himself. This last one has been coming up more often lately, more on that later. Spine was one of the first Bones, one of two parahumans in the gang when it formed, then called the Bloods and Bones under the leadership of a normal human known as Max the Red. Spine was one of Max's advisors, then became such to Skull when he took over the gang. Spine continues to be a major influence on Skull's plans, a moderating influence on Skull."

"Wh-wh-what d-d-do you w-want to do...?" Selina asks nervously.
"Um, what do you want to do? ...I guess we could go on a date or something? Isn't that what you do with Maria and Matt? And Yuri?"

2b. I can actually do something like that. Psychic Chirurgery grants me the ability to implant psionic powers into others.
Meh. You need to be psionic to use it, and Cauldron wouldn't be much if it just gave Scion or Eidolon more powers, now would it?

Victoria continues cuddling Alan.
((Missed that.))
Alan looks at Victoria, confused. You think, or at least assume from Alan's presumed tabula rasa state and lack of activity. Someone should get Alan a bracelet or something.

((At services, be back soon assuming I don't commit assualt out of irrational rage. :/ ))
((Fun. What kind of services?))

Selina sits in the living room a little nervous and bored, most likely with Nuriel nearby.
Yup. Nuriel is watching Selina.
"So, um..."

((And we just passed a highly dangerous page.))
"Er..." Selina isn't really sure what to do...
Nuriel stares at Selina, waiting for her to continue.

Vow vengeance. Smack one of them with the meat as I locate a battle to join. To get XP and loot, so I have a chance of doing anything.

((He's had the motivation for a while, but only now does he have the means. In other news, oh gog Grey Boy is a bastard. To everyone.))
((There's a reason Jack likes him. Although if you're talking about what I think you are, that might have been an accident. And it's going to save Jack's life.))
((Forever.))

((The moment I bought an amp I could've been on the S9. Manton, suck my Willpower stat.
Also yeah.
And what do you mean? Grey boy is best Boy. It's Gray Boy you have to watch out for.))
((You know darn well what he meant. Also I'm going to try to figure out how to fit a hero called Grey Boy into my game.))

15039
He's the guy who destroyed the whole world last time.
Not ringing a bell.

"H-hello Alan..." Selina carefully waves with one hand, still holding Cyrielle.
Alan stares back at Selina and waves with one hand.

Should I start with SA or ROTMG or TA?
I've got a lot of reading to do
SA, finish up the crossover.

The alternate emotional center was pretty quiet...

"Excellent. First, I'm going to give an overview of the presentation and the subject, which I am most of the way through doing. Next, I will go over the known and unknown members of the Bones, and their powers, strengths, and weaknesses as they are known. After that, I will explain other reasons to be concerned about the Bones. Finally, I will bring up some plans of action to deal with this threat."

Argonaut shifts his arm. On the screen comes a picture of a thin man in a black body suit that has a skeleton pattern on it. It almost looks like a cheap Halloween costume.
"This is Skull, the leader of the Bones. Don't judge by his cover--he possesses a power suited to a horror movie. Skull controls skeletons. His application of this power are controlling the movement of people and corpses, and animating a number of skeletons with simple hinges or springs added to the joints as cheap soldiers. These skeletons are incredibly weak, but difficult to permanently damage them. You must disconnect the joints, firmly enough to prevent the bones from coming back together--or break the bones, which may have once been easier. I will get to this in a moment. As to the control, again until recently only crude physical control was possible. Skull has been recorded as forcing people to strip flesh from their bones, leap off of tall buildings, or even shoot themselves in the head, but keep three things in mind. One: He only controls bones. This makes his movements of you crude at best, and incapable of using many distinctive patterns. Skull cannot control speech, nor can he move your eyes, ears, or other fleshy body parts, nor can he use any powers not constantly active one may possess, except for a few simpler ones such as a few super-strong or -fast individuals, notably Felis Nocht. Onto his psychological profile. Skull is believed to be a megalomaniac to some degree, and is known to have a long view that may well help him achieve his goals. Moreover, he constantly strives to gain more power...and more powers. By hook or crook, or way or pass, he has been getting every parahuman not already associated with some team and several who are to join the Bones. Recently, he has been successful often as not, with a sudden influx of new capes. One has to wonder why...but this is for later."

A pause. (Mostly to help break up what would otherwise be a ginormous Wall of Text, but it also gives PCs a chance to comment on each section.)

"Sure! When you're skilled enough, I'll teach you the advanced stuff because the basic stuff can't really be used directly anyway..." Victoria prances off and encounters Angel.
"Hi, Victoria! Have you met Alan? Alan, this is Victoria. She's Selina's wife. Selina is--"

"Sure!" Selina carefully cradles Cyrielle as they walk out and find Angel and Alan.
[shadpw=aqua, left]"Hi Selina! Alan, this is Selina. The big one, not the little one, the little one is Cyrielle. Selina is Cyrielle's mommy, kinda like I'm your mommy. Selina is really nice and stuff!"

Lets start practical with our pirate lair. We need an uninhabited island, with a nice harbor with a large sea cave, so we can stash our boat. We can turn our prisoners into miners, and have them go around building our quarters and vault.
+1

Then we'll kill them.
Um.

I still think the most practical start is to capture and co-opt some settlement of some monsterous race nobody would care to protect. Hobgoblins, Bugbears, Gnolls, Orcs, ect. That way we wont have to build as much. I'm sure we will be able to perform a few raids and rack up a good deal of money before anybody cares enough to come after us on our own turf, so hidden would be nice but not essential.
How would we control them when we were out?

I'm putting my WIP flock here:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Or a diviner. We have a Numbers Man, we could use a Contessa.
...One of us needs to find some spell, class ability, or something that lets us be Cauldron. Tell me that wouldn't be awesome.

I'm going to say no, because that way you have to do a bit more tactical construction.
That's a silly reason.
Oh, and I started playing with the timestamp. What fun.

It's all been claimed by one of the two empires. They let Wavebreak be though, because it isn't good practice to desecrate mystic temples, especially one's who have lots of connections, and Rickshaw is the favorite hangout spot of most explorers, pirates, privateers, adventurers, and such, so it's crazy hard to actually assault directly. Also, any more monstrous populations still standing haven't been worth subjugating yet (and are far away enough from the Sil-Merrion).
No private/noble/etc ownership of small islands, etc?

CAN I HAVE A WYRMLING FOR A THRALL?
...
Better not be metallic.

And there's no point recruiting from the standard "Civilised/good" races, besides, that's just boring, I mean, we got a whole variety of different creatures and you want humans?

Anyway, anyone on team evil, please restate your ship fund contributions, I'll put it in a text file and PM Remuthra the link so he can edit it into the OP so we don't keep scrabling around to find all that money.
I still need to figure out what I'm buying for myself...

"You have never really did understand, of course there is another reason I'm trying to creat a very powerful being and Jessica and Joyce and Yuki are the Key to this"
((That would be an amusing time for Alan and Angel to walk past.))

"An apocalypse that 10000 people are prepared to stop, and from what I can tell, a single one of them could create something infinitely more powerful than whatever your planning."
((Another excellent time for Alan and Angel to walk by.))

Angel, leading Alan, walks over by where Isaac and I think Selina and Victoria are.
"Hi! Wanna meet Alan? I made him!"
