Nuriel loosens her grip enough that Selina can breathe easily, and also lifts Selina off the ground. Nuriel, applying just about every comforting technique she can think of, tries rocking Selina like a baby. A baby within a foot of her size.

Delphinium sits and hugs Selina from behind, applying as much physical, comforting, human pressure as she can. If Selina could make it through tough spots like this on her own emotions, she would be better for it. Delphinium also supposes it put her in a better position to hold her if Selina failed, but that's an afterthought.Blaster is hurrying through at just the right time to pass by at this moment. She giggles a bit before hurrying onward.

Reliable, I can work on later. I have a vague image, and I want to use it darnit!
Anyways. I have time now. I should be able to get to work on finishing Aura shortly.

She felt really bad about this due to her seeming so mad... did she really mess up?Nuriel gives Selina a comforting hug. Or at least, Nuriel's interpretation of one, which involves trying to distract the hugee from whatever they need comforting to get over. (Nuriel got this idea by assuming that Angel's hugs made Selina feel better because Selina found Angel adorable, which distracted her. It makes sense in Nuriel's head.)
Nuriel does so by giving Selina a stealth hug that drives the air out of her lungs.

She has force fields under you, and between the looser parts of the snakes and you. Also, weren't you only shin-deep in the floor? Trying too hard would be quite painful, if you were still fleshy.
